In the conversation with *** *** he never mentioned anything specifically about any Chevy truckHe did say he had multiple builds in progress, and our conversation was focused on the Chey belt lines. I also remember from the last complaint he filed that the belt lines clips didn't line up, now he is stating they lined up but didn't push in? The second set we sent him I tried them on the Chevy truck door I have here to verify fitment. *** also indicated last time WE had a video out there to modify the clips on the belt line, now he says there is one out there to view but not indicating it is ours?

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
When I spoke with [redacted] on the phone I told him that the windshield on my 1970 pickup truck was wrinkled up and that was also Precision seal that was purchased from Ralph's Glass in Texarkana.  I also spoke with him about the 1955 Chevy truck belt line weather strip that I purchased through H&H Classics at a Swap meet.  The tabs didn't line up on the door with the holes and the pegs were to big to go in the holes.  After speaking with him, he assured me that he would send me a new set that would fit with no problems.  After receiving the seals, the tabs did line up, but the pegs were still too big to fit in the holes.  When I called him to tell him about this, I spoke with a lady who said I could return them for a 15% restocking fee and I would have to pay the shipping to return them.  Why should their mistake cost me money? There is also a YouTube video on how to repair this by grinding those pegs down. It has almost 50 thousand views.  And this problem has been attached to over 14 forums that I am a member of.  If I need to, I will attach pictures of the wrinkled seal on my 1970 truck and I will attach pictures of the tabs of that will not fit in the holes that [redacted] assured me would fit.  I do not know what he tried them on, but it was not a 1955 Chevy truck door.  All I want is my money back so I can go to a reputable business, and I do not want to pay a restocking fee or shipping fee.   If you would like, visit youtube door window vent installation 1955-59 Chevy/GMC truck.

[redacted] did talk to [redacted] regarding a belt line kit of ours he received from Ralph's Glass. He sounded as if he was some kind of shop manager overlooking several builds. These parts were for a 1955 Chevy pickup truck, which the clips did not line up with the existing holes in the...

door.  [redacted] then proceeded to ask [redacted] for measurements of the holes from the door as he would customize the clips on a set here and send them out to him rather than trying to instruct him over the phone. [redacted] gave [redacted] the measurements and he proceeded to adjust 1 of the clips on the belt line to accommodate his measurements. We just so happen to have a 1955 Chevy truck door here that the measurements coincide with what [redacted] gave [redacted], so he matched them up and felt good about sending them out. There are some concerns with the report that was given to Revdex.com. [redacted] read over the "Customer's Statement of the Problem" and it doesn’t coincide with the complaint call and follow up call he had with [redacted]. The conversation he had with [redacted] was about a belt line kit WFK 1110 55 A, it concerned the clip placement on the belt lines. In the report it is stated he is talking about a 1970 truck and a wrinkle in the seal. These 2 items don't match up. Later in the report [redacted] does mention about their conversation on the belt lines, and the placement of the clips which when [redacted] talked to him a second time he gave him the measurement of the holes and he made the clips match those measurements. [redacted] mentions Precision having videos on how to repair our parts? The videos we produce are how to install the parts not on how to modify them. Also, with his comments on our restocking fee the CSR that took the call on the second pair of belt lines being bad said the [redacted] wanted to return them and had no problem paying the return shipping and the 15% restocking fee. If there is anything further you need us to do please let me know. Thanks, [redacted]
