Precision Tune Auto Care - Spring Lake Park

Based on a coupon (attached) I received in the mail stating that the price of an oil change was $17.90, I called this establishment, made an appointment and took my vehicle for an oil change on 12/28/2017 at 4:30 PM. When I arrived, I presented the coupon to the employee who checked me in and he stated that the coupon was unnecessary because the $17.90 price was their charging rate. Once the vehicle was ready and an hour later, I was presented with the price $23.95 told it included taxes and shop fees. It was not until I saw the bill (attached) that I realized that I have been overcharged by $3.99. I asked the employee why and he claimed that there we were taxes/fees on top of the $17.90. but when asked to walk me through it, he could not do it. I pointed out that the bill had the starting price to be $21.48 and not $17.90 as advertised, so it was impossible that the discrepancy be attributed to taxes/fees. He continued to reply that the difference was taxes/fees. These are deceptive practices/scams and if they are to "cover" their tracks, the least they can do is to get the math right.
