The fact that we have been asked several times to perform different remodel projects for this customer should be proof that she has been happy with our past workThis time we were asked to replace outlets, switches and light fixtures at the houseThere were numerous issues with the electrical that
another contractor cause prior to us starting any workWe did what we were asked of only and leftAs with any project there are punch list items that needed to be taken care of which consisted of plate covers being crookedWe offered to come out and fix the issue but were told we were not allowed back on the property and told we were not being paid for our workAny work that was not completed at the house was not charged forWe charged by the hour and if there was anything else she wanted completed we would have charged more time to do itAfter letting the customer know we would place a lien on the property I received a settlement offer in the amount of $1,Then she filed this complaint saying she wants to pay only $in which she stated she had already paid usAt the time this complaint was filed we had not received any money from this customerI did receive money days after the complaint was filedI have emailed the customer a settlement offer of $2,in which she has already paid $leaving an open balance of $2,I think this is more than fair considering we completed the work that was charged for and should be paid in full. For the record the original invoiced amount was $3,

I am rejecting this response because: I have sent a response to Preeminent Contracting as to what I thought the cost should be and have not received a response I am going to pay them the requested owed amount of $2, Although I still believe that the amount I am being charged is too much for the poor services rendered, but I want my business complete with them and will not give them any type of references

The customer has contacted me through email to agree to pay the settlement offer of $2,307.94She has accepted the offer and in return we have agreed to sign a lien release for the property.
