directly by Preferred Car Rental regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[After filing my complaint with the Revdex.com, I sent a text message to the business rep*** on February ***, 3:pm asking when I'll be getting my moneyAt 3:pm he replied "Sno"Since then I have sent him text messages on separate days asking about my money and he hasn't respondedIt has been over months since I have rented from him and now he is completely ignoring my messagesI need my money back! Please help! ]

Review: A $400 deposit was required for the car rental which was given in cash to [redacted], on December **, 2014 for a car rented on December **, 2014. [redacted] promised deposit back after 7 days (December **) but failed to return the money. He also is obliged to refund me a tow charge of $166 which I had to pay as the car he had rented to me was poorly functioning and had broken down in the highway before I had reached my destination. Therefore, making my entire purpose of renting from this company futile. I tried to contact him numerous time as I was stranded on the highway but he failed to answer my calls and did not return my call until the following morning. I informed him of the charges incurred and provided him with the address of the garage the car was taken to. As he failed to return my deposit after 7 days I waited 14 days which was written on the contract and inquired again for my deposit and tow charge. It has been over a month since I have given [redacted] my deposit money and have tried to contact him numerous times about when I would be receiving my money. He has constantly promised that he would return my deposit and tow charge, giving me specific dates but failing to show up. He has yet to return my deposit money of $400 and my tow charge of $166. I have had to cancel my plans numerous times so that I may be present as he promised to bring the money to my home. I have also traveled to his office after he had stated that I would be receiving my money on Saturday, January [redacted]. I found his office closed and he failed to pick up my calls or answer my text messages. I find it appalling and extremely unprofessional for a business to mislead and cheat a customer this way. This business has made me feel deceived, vulnerable, and dissatisfied. I, as the patron, have done everything according to their policies whilst renting from their business. I expect them to return my money in the same manner. Alternate company address: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I simple want my money back which includes the $400 cash deposit I have paid them before renting the car and the $166 tow charge I have had to pay for the car to be towed once it broke down in the highway. I have a copy of the contract I was given by the business after I had paid the deposit as well as the receipt of the towing charges. I will never rent from this company again after this experience. I just want my money back.

It has been over 2 months since I have rented from him and now he is completely ignoring my messages. I need my money back! Please help! ]
