My A/C went down in my home and I called preferred they sent out a tech to solve the problem, He found burnt wires and a solenoid that had to be replaced so he went ahead and fixed my AC, in a few days it went down again, I called them back and was told that they would come out in a few days and look at it charging me a service call again, I told them it sounds like you man screwed it up, she said I cannot help you know we can send someone out in a few days, the temp. in my house was 95 degrees by babies were sweating, So I found another company to come out and was told that Preferred never tightened the wire which had come out and burnt out the terminals which hold the wires in place I was overcharged and left to burn in a house that was without air and it was there fault for doing a lousy job
We did provide service to Mr. on Saturday the 11th. Our technician replaced a part on the outside condenser unit. The system was up and running properly when our technician left the home. The customer did call in several days later and stated the the system was not keeping the set point on the thermostat. He stated that the set point was 72 and the temperature in the house was 74. Our service dispatcher explained to him that we were book out due to the volume of calls that we had where the homeowners were without air completely. There clearly was a miscommunication and we apologize for that. Mr. did email us on 07/17/2020 requesting compensation for the service provided by the other HVAC company and I requested a copy of their work order to determine how to proceed. I never heard back for Mr.. However, if he would like to discuss matters further regarding compensation we would be more than willing to review the documentation.
