Received a form letter yesterday offering a "free Android Tablet" for participating in their market study and promotion Postmark from Dallas, return address from Grand Rapids, Michigan Glad I checked Revdex.com and read the reviews I was going to toss it anyway, but this confirms my initial reaction

This is a SCAM! Offering a free tablet

Like many others, I received a a mysterious letter, postmarked from Dallas, TX, without any return address on itInside was a form letter with a letterhead from PCS ,with a Grand Rapids address, inviting me to pick up a free Android tabletAll that was requested was that I fill out the enclosed survey form re: the tabletThe letter was hand-addressedEverything seemed fishySo I Googled PCS and found out what this was all aboutInto the trash it goes But, there are many people who are not savvy, possibly elderly, who will fall for this scamThey may be suckered into buying a timeshareThese are the people, the less-savvy, that are being targeted

We got a letter in the mail offering a free tabletMy husband signed us upI saw all the bad reviews on here but still decided to give it a shot since no one seemed to have a ligitament reviewSo here's what happened We arrived and filled out some basic paperworkWe were sat in a room with about other people and listened to a sales pitch for a little over an hourThey were tyring to sell us a membership to a vacation clubThe cost is $9K one time fee to join(Available in payments) plus $a year to keep it activated plus $189/week to stay anywhere in the world at their resortsThey push the $189/week and of course hold the rest of the costs until the last minuteAfter the presentation, your taken to a cubical farm and sat one on one with a sales person that trys to explain why its'a great deal We told them we were not interested twiceHe got his boss, who tried to explain it again to us and then cut the $9K fee down to about $3KAt the minute mark I saidyou know what I wantI just want to leave nowThey were a little shocked but were ok with itThey ended the sales pushThey gave us a brand new (cheap) tablet, a voucher for a day/night vacation and a vouchure for $free gift card for [redacted] They did everything they said they would do in the advertisementIf your up for sitting there for minutes, there is no cost to you other than your time and the little gifts were fairly nice The location we went to was located at [redacted] and [redacted] road in [redacted] I think the company is actually Global vacationsIt might be a good deal for someone planning to vacation X a year to resorts and has that kind of money for stuff like this If I had a friend with an offer like this I would tell them to go but not to buy I dont think it is fair for a lot of the reviews to be posted as negative when they didn't even go to the presentation or entertain the offer

I recieved this letter as well, and opened itRight away, I realized its a scamThank you Revdex.com, and everyone else for the warnings!

We received a letter that said we choosen to participate in a marketing studyThanks to the previous reviews I saved my timePURE SCAM!

After reading a lot of the negative posts, I found it interesting that many hadn't gone to the presentation or purchased the membershipI would be interested in comments from actual consumers of the travel "club" LOL!!! I went to the presentation, watched the video, listen to the sales pitch, said its not for us politely times and received our RCA tablet and 3day/2night voucherGuess I'll post a follow up when we experience one of the properties Its not time share but the cost starts @ $the day you goThey'll tell you about the cheaper options if you let them talk long enough *Its just like flying with Spirit Airlinesget your mind right before the experience!

Got a letter in the mail today glad I googled themAnd this cme up throwing my letter away since it is postmarked from Dallas and the company address is suposably in grand rapids michigan

Glad I checked Preferred Client Services on Revdex.com before I fell for their pitchReceived letter promising a table just for reviewing it after I received itNO OBLIGATION letter saidBut I see on here just a scam for you to attend a seminar!! Like the saying - if it's too good to believe it

Same letterMy question is: did anyone actually sit through the presentation and get a tablet at the end? of zoning out and snickering to myself about their sales pitch might be worth a free tablet

FYI- They now have an office in Livonia, MI with number (888) 228-I got a letter yesterdayDecided to look them up and found all these news stories and negative Revdex.com ratingIf it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is

Thank you all for confirming my hunch that this was a scam before wasting any time calling these people SO glad I googled first!

Scam, and so glad I read all the reviews and googled this time share company before responding to the letter/invitationFree tablet, for reviewing itRED flag! Letter from Texas, office in Grand Rapids Michigan, RED flag! Thanks but no thanks, letter tossed into trash!

I am glad the Revdex.com site came up as the first result in my searchI received a letter from APEX Market Exploration from Minneapolis, MN saying I would get a free tablet compliments of Preferred Client ServicesPer the other negative reviews I am not calling the phone number and I am choosing not to goJust beware they or other "partners" are trying to add legitimacy by using additional companies or company names like APEX Market Exploration (http://www.apexmarketexploration.com)This website is sketchy only because it lacks any information what-so-ever

I received a hand addressed envelope sent from ***, **for the Free Android Tablet Computer that appeared questionable to me so I came here to determine whether I am dealing with a reputable company or not This company now has a New address and number The address I have on my letter is Seven Mile Rd., Suite 150, Livonia, MI phone #(888) 441- It indicates that I can pick up a free Android Tablet Computer and after I have received and tested the computer they wish me to fill out the enclosed survey It provides you a package code number

I received the same letter in the mail asking me to call the above number to pick up my free tablet to use and evaluate for themI read the above post and saved me a phone call and threw the letter in the garbageThey did do a nice job of making the letter look personnel by using a "hand written" looking font when printing the envelope and letterI wonder how many fell for this and went to their seminar (for a trip or time share etc.)?

Received letter in mail with Dallas Tx postmark today Inside was an offer for a"free Android tablet" just for completing a survey Local address was Preferred Client Services in Grand Rapids We noticed the catch "you simply have to pick it up."I Giggled Preferred Client Services Thank you Grand Rapids Revdex.com and all who posted your comments I suspected that there would be a sales pitch behind this " free offer" I realize that any number of travel and resort promoting agencies offer free cruises or stays at a resort, or discounts on tickets or vacation activities in exchange for my time to listen to a sales presentation These presentations are often high pressure and I have a firm NO! However, lets be up front about what we are offering How trustworthy is an organization that doesn't tell me up front I am exchanging my time for a "gift" or mini vacation travel voucher? Our shredded letter awaits the new recycling pickup Thank you again Revdex.com and those who have responded My retired time is too busy and valuable and my peace of mind too precious raising my blood pressure continuing to say: NO! NO!! NO!!! NO-O-O!!!!!!

Yep, yada, yada.....it's a sales pitch I guess we have to remember people that NOTHING is free except our salvation through Jesus Christ!
p.s I'm throwing my letter away:)

After reading other reviews I conclude this business has changed its strategy - at least in my case I was not required to sit through any sales pitch or presentation to get the free tablet (in fact I was asked to sign a paper stating that I had NOT been subjected to any presentation), just was asked to fill out a one-sheet survey after using the tablet and return it within daysThe promotional tablet, however, is extremely user-unfriendly, starting with a user manual with print and symbols so tiny as to be virtually unreadableThe language in the manual also is painfully or laughably (or both) ungrammatical and was clearly never edited by a native (or even accomplished) English speakerBecause I can't read the tiny print of the manual, and can't intuit how to set it up, I will either throw it away or give it to somebody who knows more about tablet usage than I doIt appears to be rather cheaply made but for me what makes it unusable is the manual
