We purchased a Kensington model home in October and have had one issue after another occur, the basement leaked from possession date and still is not resolved...we are going to fix it ourselves and sell it
Do not buy a Kensington home!!!

My experience with Kensington was extremely positiveIt started with our real estate agent (Lisa Lawrence) who treated us like family and was available always to answer any questions or help in any wayThe workmanship in the house was top notchWe made many changes to the plans and they did their best to accommodated us when possibleI have only good things to say about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone buying or building a house

Our experience purchasing our new home, was stress freeVisiting the display home on several occasions before making our decision to purchase we never felt pressured to make a commitmentLisa was always there to answer any questions we had and provided information even before we had to askWhen our decision was made to purchase Lisa was there to walk us through the entire process, we made changes to the layout which were never an issue and drawings always can back quicklyLisa stayed in touch with us right through the entire process, Everything went as smooth as possible right from the signing of the offer to purchase to the design center meeting, they made our selection process very easy and once again did not feel the pressure of having to upgrade if you didn't want to The possession day walk through exactly on the date that was agreed to months previously was excellent and very detailed any concerns were addressed quickly If we should decide to purchase a new home again Kensington will be our first choice and would definitely want to deal with Lisa Lagain Thanks for everything!

Our experience with Kensington Homes has been overall very positive. Real estate agent Lisa [redacted] was helpful and responsive. The customer/warranty service experience has been prompt and any issues thus far have been acknowledged and rectified. We also found the thorough walk-through at the time of possession to be helpful. Additionally, a Kensington representative came to our home after we had been in the house for three months, to review the maintenance of our furnace, HRV, hot water tank, etc. As well, a binder full of instruction and direction on maintenance and upkeep of the house has been useful. We have heard from friends, family, colleagues etc. that these services are not typical, and so we feel we have received a lot more instruction on maintenance and care of our home than other people have received from other builders.
