Only if you live in close to their locationI had to find the first contractor which fell through and I didn't understand why at the time, but months later I found out whyIn the mean time Rose said that she would try and find a contractor and never didDecand JanI continued to email and call many contractors and what a pain that was, no one calling back or responding to emailsI finally found a wonderful contractor at Premier Transport name Brain that came out and was really informativeBrian started with the written estimate for the foundation, electrical, plumbing, etcFeband during that time Kim the owner of Preferred came out to the property to appraise our traand meet with Justin a worker of Premier TransportA week went by and we contacted Rose to find out what was going on, Brian had called to let me know that Preferred Homes wanted to deliver and set the home, well Brian is a licensed contractor and did not want to do the job if he could not do it all due to if there is a problem after completion there would not be any finger pointingHe said he doesn't like to work like that, he has his own crew and that's what his company does is deliver and set homesAlso, during my conversation with Brian he told me that Rose told him NOT to give my husband and I a copy of the estimate, he sent us the estimate up front and loyal to us because we were the ones who contacted himThey wanted to bump up the figures(which they did and I will get to that in a moment)I finally had enough and call multiple places that sell these homes and come to find out the delivery could have been done by the factory for $62,*** at *** in ***, MI let me in on that infoand Preferred wanted to charge $plus $processing fee, FOR WHAT!?!? We were going through *** Finance and my husband was already pre approved, so March 2nd the disclosure forms were signed and at that time Rose went on vacationThe home was about $with tax and construction $a total of $minus the $for our trade-in, a total of $As I was told from a unnamed source, Preferred would say they are giving you the $for your trabut basically they will just take the home from youAnyway, the loan total was $95,Can you PLEASE tell me why they would add on a total of $My husband wanted the house so bad, I had gotten off the ride a long time ago, but I wanted to support my husband, I told him long before with the way things were going that it wouldn't happenRose contacted my husband after she returned from her vacation the middle of March to say that they forgot the termite treatment in the paper work so they needed to write up another purchase agreement and I told my husband "WHY when we can pay cash for it"Preferred is a partner of *** and should have known this, I went onto *** website and seen it there clear as day! My husband got upset with *** and Rose and decided to start over with *** Mortgage, when he got the disclosures the loan amount when up a few thousand and then Rose contacted my husband a week and a half later saying that the numbers were not right yet again and that it went up again $and that he would have to sign another purchase agreement! My husband said NO and told *** to cancel everythingSo the moral of the story is that we did not get our home after months of the run aroundHow can the owners daughter (Rose G***) of Preferred Mobile Homes screw up so bad!?!? Because she doesn't know what she is doing and far from PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!
They do a half a** jobstarted out with a week delay and excusesit didn't get any betterdelays on material,labor and inspectionsthe guy that hooked up the gas lines didn't even check his work and there was a leakand the inspector failed the workgrout for the tile, doors,stairs, lights,ectDon't see how they are still in business with the ethic that they have displayed to usseek someone else to do business withI'll never call them againwant someone that does what they say they will do
