Waited almost a year for an update on my claim. Never get a return call and the contract I signed has not been performed by premier.
Terrible public adjuster

In my opinion, Premier is either incredibly sloppy, understaffed, and incompetent or downright fraudulent. I assigned a hurricane claim to them in the summer of 2019 based on a contractor's recommendation. That fall they secured an additional partial payment from my insurance company. After that I inquired for months about the status of my supplemental claim. When they did respond, they fed me what I considered to be lip service such as "we are arranging for a third party expert to inspect the damage...they will be contacting to you to schedule"....for weeks no one contacted me....I kept asking Premier about status and I got similar responses. Being an attorney I demanded a full report within x days and threatened to sue if they did not comply. They did not comply. I wrote a letter terminating my contract and demanding copies of my file again with the threat of a lawsuit. They sent me a self serving letter saying they would allow me to terminate the contract , that the fees they collected were sufficient and that I owed them no more, and that I agreed not to take any legal action against them and that I would not disparage them. I wrote back and said I did not agree with everything they wrote in their letter and I renewed my demand for a full copy of my file. Eventually, after speaking with their attorney in February 2020, they sent me my file. In the file was a copy of the checks my insurance company sent to them in November 2019. There was also a *** shipping label dated in November 2019 addressed to my contractor along with a copy of a check sent to my contractor for the collected insurance funds, less Premier's fees. I asked my contractor in March if they had received the check. They had not. In March 2020, I went online to track the status of the *** shipping label they made in November 2019 to send the check to my contractor to see if it had been delivered to my contractor. The *** website informed me that the shipping label had in fact been prepared in November, 2019 BUT AS OF MARCH 2020 WAS NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM. In other words, it had not yet been mailed. So, the check was prepared to be sent in early November, 2019 but as of March 2020, it had not been mailed. I sent another legal demand that they send me a replacement check or wire the funds to my bank within 2 days. Their deadline is tomorrow and we will see if I get it. If I do not, I will sue them

If I could go back in time and reverse any decision I ever made in my ENTIRE life it would be working with these is.
I gave them one small claim and they've made 0 progress in almost 10 months.
Every time I call my account manager she has no new info (even after 2-3 month gaps) and a lot of the time she feeds me old info that I already had.
There's even been a few instances where I gave her basic information that was already known that she somehow didn't have.
Overall their staff is really friendly and apologetic, but they are very slow and have absurdly poor communication.

Please save yourself/contractor/customer some stress and don't use these public adjusters!

This company is awful they will tell you one thing and do something else. Holding my check for over 10 days and when I call say was waiting on the supervisor to review. Why do a supervisor need to review when the check have cleared the back? Please don't use.

I hired Premier Claims to
work a job in ***. When we discovered the job needed redecked they gave us no help but instead dropped our clients.
I hired premier claims to help us with a job in ***. The selling point of Premier Claims is that they send an adjuster to document all the damage on a claim. But we ended up doing a lot of leg work on this job as well as several others with them. When we found out the roof needed redecking they said it would be too lengthy of a process and dropped our clients. They took their percentage from the job but did not help us with the hardest part of the job.

Desired Outcome

Just want to warn others about the business practices of Premier Claims and we want out money back.

Premier Claims Response • Feb 04, 2019

Good Afternoon. The following will serve as a responsive communication to the consumer complaint filed by Lucas *** on ***. Should you have any further questions of concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Premier Claims.

First and foremost, I want to make sure that the relationship of the parties to this complaint are correctly set forth. Lucas *** is the owner of a roofing company by the name of *** that operates in ***. Premier Claims is a public adjusting firm that operates in ***, among other states. While *** and Premier Claims have mutual clients in ***, *** is not a client of Premier Claims. Premier Claims has contractual agreements with several insured homeowners in *** in which we have been entrusted to be an advocate and representative in the presentment and negotiation of various insurance claims. has been hired by some of these individuals as their contractor. Again, while we have mutual clients, Premier Claims and *** have no contractual relationship. This serves as an important distinction, because the complaint indicates that Lucas *** hired Premier Claims for a job in *** and that is not accurate. A correct assessment would be that we have mutual clients as we are hired by insured homeowners and they are our clients.

The remainder of the complaint details that Premier Claims didn't perform in certain aspects of their representation. While we disagree with the allegations set forth in the complaint, we do apologize for any negative experience you have had in working with Premier Claims and would be happy to discuss further with any of our contractual clients or Mr. himself. We pride ourselves on working hard to best serve our clients and maintain our reputation in the business community. We are available and willing to discuss this further with Mr. at his convenience to attempt to resolve any issues he may have with Premier Claims.
