As others have reported, they use high pressure tactics, will not take "no" for an answer, are untruthful and deceptive. Once they have your money they will not respond to you. I am ashamed I fell for this scam. Beware!

Darin Merullo is the salesperson that contacted me maybe a year ago. He has sold me several gold coins, mostly bullion. All transactions done in a professional, speedy manner. You can buy with confidence from him/them

THE OWNER BOB D[redacted] HIS ASSOCIATES, CHRISTINE, STEPHANIE AND SABRINA STAND IN STARK CONTRAST TO OTHERS DOING THE SAME BUSINESS. MY FATHER WHO IS 87 YEARS OF AGE GOT CAUGHT UP IN SOME COIN PURCHASES WHICH WERE NOT APPROPRIATE FOR HIM AT HIS STAGE OF LIFE. WHEN THE FAMILY BECAME AWARE OF THIS, I CONTACTED BOB AND TOLD HIM THE CIRCUMSTANCES. WITHOUT ANY SHRED OF, "YOU BOUGHT YOU OWN IT" HE WILLINGLY SAID HE WOULD COMPLETELY UNWIND ALL 5 TRANSACTIONS AND REFUND ALL OF MY FATHER'S MONEY. OUR FAMILY CANNOT THANK HIM AND HIS COMPANY ENOUGH. VERY ETHICAL PEOPLE.

Review: Premier called me and said they had a really good deal on some gem proof Washington quarters and that these proofs were only sold in a complete set of all the coins for the year.

The Lady said that they had two bags of 40 1961 Gem Proofs and that she get them for me for only 11 dollars a piece. She also said that one of her customers was getting 20 dollars apiece on [redacted]. selling them 1 or 2 coins at a time I agreed to buy the proofs when they arrived the proofs were not in mint wrappers, they were in shipping tubes all bumping up against the coin ahead and behind it. She had marked the 10 dollar Quarter tubes which hold 40 coins with 50 pieces so if I was really dumb I would think I had 100 coins. The bag also included, which was not mentioned on the phone a 2012 silver eagle NGC MS-70 which is worth about 70 dollars. to sweeten the deal. Maybe I would not complain about Gem Proof Coins out of there wrapper bumping against each other. I went on line and found these coins were being sold buy other coin dealers in the mint proof wrappers for $6.12 each. and that no one was selling them for 20 dollars. 40 properly wrapped gem proof coins were 245 dollars verses damaged coins in a shipping tube for 450 dollars (these coins are not Gem Proof)

I called Premier Coin on Friday July ** and left a message that I did not want the coins. I did not hear from them over the weekend and by Monday evening I still had not received a call I called back and there was no answer and the recorders mailbox was full.Desired Settlement: refund my money

Response:

Referring to case id # [redacted], the customer has returned his package and a refund check was issued in the full amount of $900.00. We have satisfied the customers complaint by issuing a refund for the merchandise. Thank you.

Premier Coin Galleries obviously preys on the elderly, myself included, by having their sleezy sales reps lie to potentionally vulnnise a criminalerable elderly clients to convince them that they are getting a GREAT deal on their coins by paying them twice or more what THEY ARE WORTH. I am one of their foolish victims, and I see from your reviews that there have been many others. The difference is that I am a disabled 75 year old Vet, and also a retired San Jose California PD police officer with postgraduate degrees in Criminology and Sociology, whose brain still works enough to recognize FRAUD when I confront it. Premier convinced me with their telephone lies that I would be getting a Great deal if I paid them $285. for a roll of 2008-s clad condition quarters proof condition...Like a fool, I did that, but found out a day later on line and from their competitors that my purchase was actually worth less than half of what had paid. I given them ONE WEEK to refund me 60% of what I paid them (which includes postage I paid), acknowledging immediately their intent to do this immediately..if not, we will pursue a tougher solution utilizing my police experience and education in matters of intentional FRAUD, as well as contacting all agencies like yours describing their devious and unlawful behavior against us old folks. I have no doubt that they will ultimately end up in the criminal courts, but for now, I want my 60% back needed for groceries and healthcare here in FLA. Thank you Revdex.com for being there for folks like us

Review: A representative who calls himself "[redacted]" calls my cell phone periodically to sell me coins. I have told him repeatedly that I want my number removed from their calling lists and he has literally refused. I have told this person that I charge $50 for the use of my telephone number for the purposes of solicitation. Today, 11/**/2014, at approximately 11:30 am, NY time, [redacted] called again and I said, "Do not call me again." He relied, "I will," which has been his reply to my similar requests as he has been calling me for the past several years.

I want Premier Coin Galleries to pay me $50 dollars for each of the last three times they have used my personal telephone number to conduct unwanted solicitations using my personal time and telephone number.Desired Settlement: Please ensure that Premier Coin Galleries sends me a cashier's check for $150 to compensate me for disrupting my personal time and using my personal telephone number for unwanted solicitations. Please also ensure that they do not call me again.

Business

Response:

[redacted]'s phone number has been put on our company DO NOT CALL LIST, he will never be called again by Premier Coin Galleries. We do apologize for any inconvenience that these calls may have caused, however, we find [redacted]'s request for $150 to be unreasonable. I can assure that [redacted] will not be contacted again. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

Premier Coin Galleries' rude sales personnel have been calling me for at least three years, unwanted, and literally taunting me as they refused my requests for them to stop. They have purposely, relentlessly used my personal telephone equipment against my will for their own purposes and exploited the opportunity to insult and offend me, assuring me that they would call again - and then did so. "I'm sorry; we won't do it again" does not rise to the level of egregious offense they have imposed on me for these several years. They should lose any business license they have secured because they have abused the public trust in abusing that license to harass people like me who choose not to do business with them. Since this harassment took place on a public utility across state lines, perhaps federal charges are in order. If they really want to apologize they can voluntarily send me a check for $150 before December **, 2014:

Suggest you place your cell number on the DO NOT CALL list. Once you have been on the list for 30 days, if you receive further calls from this merchant after you request them not to call, you then report them to the FCC. I had a friend who pursued such callers after more than a couple of calls. The legal fees he has collected has been in the thousands. They should consider your mediocre request reasonable and REMOVE you forever.

Review: My name is [redacted]. My address is [redacted]. (Phone ###-###-####). I am writing at the request of my 81 year old father, [redacted] (same address but phone ###-###-####). He had the misfortune of dealing with Premier Coin Galleries (further referred to as PCG) of [redacted]. During the period from 02/**/2012 through 03/**/2014, my father placed and paid for 19 orders totaling $94,644.

PCG used extremely high pressure sales tactics throughout this time period, which, at my father’s advanced age and memory issures further increased his vulnerability. In addition, the amount paid for some orders, exceeded their value, as taken from “A Guide Book of United States Coins 66th Edition 2013 “. For example in May 2013, ten 780-793 Tabaristan Silver Hemidrachm Caspian Sea Hoard BGC UA were purchased for $295 per coin. Through research on the internet, the auction valued ranged from $75 to $133 per coin. Another example, in November 2011, he purchased $20 Gold Liberty MS61 G20LI for $2588 each, auction value was $1284. Thus making the possibility of a PCG investment earning a return is a nonissue.

My father wants to return the coins in his possession to PCG and be refunded in full the monies paid to PCG. The blatant taking advantage of the elderly by preying on them should be defined as a criminal act, and treated accordingly.

My sister [redacted] contacted PCG last summer and requested that they no longer call my father; she felt that they were preying on him and taking advantage of him. The sales person hung up on her, and then called my father to report that one of his daughters had called requesting that PCG no longer call him because of the high pressure sales tactics, but let him call when he was interested in purchasing more coins.

It is only through efforts of me, my sisters [redacted], [redacted] and her husband [redacted] that this fraud has been defined.Desired Settlement: The balance of the moneys (purchase price) for the coins currently in [redacted]s possession is $94,644 to be refunded to [redacted] immediately by bank check.

Predatory Business. Took my mother for thousands of dollars with the verbal promise "to buy back any of her gold coin purchases for what she paid (if not more). After several warnings from myself and my sibling, to cease calling her she bought one last coin. She is a senior citizen and they know this and exploit it. We had her call back and she asked if they would buy back a coin she paid almost $8000.00 for, they told her the value of the gold coin had dropped and they would pay her half the value. They then quoted their receipt which DOES state all sales are final after 15 days, which is fine but their refusal to honor their verbal condition is intolerable. They then called her house asking her to if she wanted any silver coins. When she repeated her request about the devalued gold coin the salesman response was "Well, you should have bought silver." Simply a predatory bait and switch scam business.

Review: I purchased 5 Morgan Silver dollars about 3 years ago and was told they would hold their value and were of excellent quality. I have found out from many independent coin dealers that they were buffed and are common coins worth only the cost of silver. People from Premier keep calling me and wanting to sell more products when I have asked repeatedly that I be refunded my original investment on the grounds that I was misrepresented. They called yesterday and I was told the stock market was going to crash and I should invest all my stocks in coins. I was further told that My coins would be researched and given a price as to their worth because I and other coin dealers "didn't know what we were talking about." I find their calls annoying because all they want to do is get money and give lesser quality products then what they are producing. Why do they call me if they have no intention on buying back their coins? Why do they say they will call back and never do? Why did they put these coins in plastic which makes them worth less? I want to start over and get my money back by returning their coins and let them sell them to someone else. This was truly a bad experience for me.Desired Settlement: They give me back the money I paid and they get back their coins.

Review: I was contacted by Premier Coin Galleries, Inc. to purchase Brilliant Uncirculated Morgan Silver Dollars. The offer was made to purchase uncirculated coins and the ones that I received were poor quality "slugs" or "cull" coins. In addition, a number of coins were either reproductions or Peace Dollars and were not Morgan Silver Dollars. Also, I was told that all of the coins that would be sent to me would be "pre-1900 coins; over 50% of the coins were dated 1921. The 1921 edition is the most common edition, not what I was told or agreed to purchase. I was simply lied to by the representative on the phone. Immediately after I received the coins, I called Premier Coin Galleries, Inc. to complain and I was told to send the coins back for a full refund; however, my concern is that either this company or someone other than this company is running a scam and is misrepresenting the sale of these coins. I also fear that if I send these coins back, I will not receive a refund and will be left with nothing.Desired Settlement: Receive a refund

These guys are scam artists. Do not trust. Purchased through the mail.two rolls of Morgan silver dollars that were sold as Gem BU and received coins that were cull quality. They sent me pictures of the coins before I bought them but the coins I received were nothing like the pictures. Pure scam. They purposely misrepresentated the quality. Do not trust or buy anything from these guys. Robert D[redacted] was the salesperson.
