Update: I opened a fraud dispute with my credit card company. While they are investigating my case they refunded the full amount I made in payments to[redacted] over the years. They did say though that this refund is not final until the dispute...
is resolved and/or closed (i.e. they might take it back). Currently they say they need to contact the merchant. I will update with any new information.
