Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
This company is very disorganized. I never saw or signed off on any change orders in regards to the items in question. They supplied me after the complaint through our realtor a document with my initials in regards to our selections. This document is dated March 2017. We did not have a signed contract on the house until March 2017. We did not meet with their representative till after that date. They are getting things confused with their other property. As for the meetings with *** his answer to everything was to blame the confusion on the super that is no longer with the company. I understand that no one is perfect but they are saying they are!Regards,
*** ***

We have met with the Muncy's at the house several timesThe items they are now saying that are incorrect are falseWe have signed documents with the plans and selections they madeWe are currently pricing a few items that they would like us to change out at their costThis is not a valid complaint in our opinion

To Whom It May Concern,
We are in receipt of the complaint Mr*** has placed against our companyHowever, we feel that the homeowner’s issues were being addressed long before this complaint was brought to our attention. We were in constant contact with Mr*** to correct problems
as they arose. We feel that we have a good line of communication with the homeowner and will move forward with a better working relationship
In regards to the back yard, we had to wait until good weather as he bought his home in February to handle those issuesAt the time you receive this response all back yard issues will be handled
The tree was placed in his front yard over two weeks ago
The venting issue has been corrected, and the ceiling repairs have been made as well
The tile under the dishwasher should be repaired within the next week.
It is our understanding that at this point Mr*** plans to send a retraction to this complaint as we are and have been handling the issues at handWe also hope that he and his family will enjoy their new home for many years to come.
Sincerely,
*** ***

All new construction homes that are sold by Premier Homes of Southern Indiana come with a 3rd party warrantyHis warranty is through ***He needs to go through the proper channels of contacting themIt's typical for another roofing contractor to go to a house and give the worst possible
conclusion to a homeowner in hopes they get to replace the whole roof vs making a minimal cost repairThey are salespeopleMr***'s roof is 1/yrs oldThis area has had several severe storms and wind over that time periodAt this point, it would be very difficult to distinguish between storm damage and faulty installationIn conclusion, Mr*** needs to contact *** to seek resolution

Premier Homes disputes this claimPremier Homes installed the cabinet hardware that the buyers selected and signed off onEvery selection that they have picked out for there house is on a document that they signed off onOur decorator does not have any emails or text messages from them asking for
a change in hardwareThe decorator has have conversations with them during a secondary meeting and they did ask her to change the Hardwood flooring colorIf they had asked about this in that meeting she would have made notes of this just like the Hardwood changePremier Homes is not responsible for the hardware that they say they wanted changed. When it comes to the mortar color being the wrong colorThe brick supplier made the mistake and was willing to make the correctionWe met with the Buyers and they chose not to change the mortar and wanted a covered deck instead

This person that they said would have made notes is a very unreliable person. Our original meeting with this person was on a Wednesday. My wife called her the next day to set up a follmeeting to make the changes on the hardware. We set that the next day, Friday at their model home in Sellersburg, IN. She did not show up and didn't even call us. When I called her she had an excuse of having to get her grandson because her son had got called into work and that she had forgot about the meeting. We rescheduled for the following day, Saturday and she showed this time. At this meeting my wife told her to change the hardware on the cabinets. She said she was having problems connecting to the internet because of the wifi and she said she would take care of that when she got back into the office. My mistake was assuming this person would do what they said they would do! This person has made a mistake and she is now compounding the problem by not being truthful to her employer to cover her backside. We brought this error to our realtor's attention as soon as I saw the photo of the cabinets installed. I have served in the military for over years and carried a Top Secret Clearance during my time in the military. You do not get that by being a dishonest person!!!!

The complaint from these homeowners isn't completely accurateWe do not do paint touch-ups on homesThey are made aware of this at the final walkthrough and sign a document that states thisWe provide a small amount of paint for the at closingThe issue of the small window leaking in the
unfinished basement has been looked at several times and we have attempted to fixThe repairs did not workUnfortunately we have parted ways with the company that originally did the workWe have a new company that is doing our masonry work and them and myself will be making the repairs today at this homeWe have talked to the homeowners and they know we will be coming todayThey also know we don't do paint touchups and were just hoping we would do them anywayI hope this complaint could be removed from your company as there are always two sides to every storyThanks, *** *** (Premier Homes Management)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I disagree with the response because the actual shingles are in excellent condition, but the problem is that they were not properly nailed or secured to the roof. Therefore, the shingles slide off the roof because they are not sealed or nailed down. I understand that the other companies are sales personnel; however, it was the consensus of all five companies as well as an insurance adjuster. In addition, there is physical evidence that the roof was not installed because shingles should slide off a roof when they have been properly secured with nails and the sealant on the back of the shingle.  Also, good customer service would have been to return my telephone calls or respond to my electronic communication. provide me with the contact information. Furthermore, Premier Homes of Southern Indiana was contacted while the warranty was still in effect, but never once instructed me to contact [redacted]. They are simply transferring responsibility for the roof to their subcontractor.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
The business had failed at keeping open communication and making us a priority until complaints were made formally.  Once formal complaints were lodged then people took our issues seriously and made us a priority.  The excuse that weather prevented the back yard is just that an excuse, 4 houses were dug and basements done, and 2 of them were almost completly done before our yard was done.  It took 3 months to get a tree put in, and even then it was done without communication.  We walked out one day and a tree was there.  Communication helps prevent a lot of issues and no one communicated until formal complaints were logged.
Since the Revdex.com complaint our issues are quickly being resolved and [redacted] of Premier Homes has been excellent and keeping in contact with us and ensuring our satisfaction of all work being done to get the issues fixed.  [redacted] has also been a great help and keeping us informed of what contractors were coming when, except for the tree which just showed up.  We are very happy with the work done in the back yard and the work done inside of the home by the drywall guys and paint guy, [redacted], all were very nice and made sure we were happy with the work.  We are still awaiting just the tile under the dishwasher to be done at this point.
Regards,
[redacted]
