May 9th we were contacted by a company PMI that discussed selling our timeshares with *** resort I made notes of what and who I talked to concerning this transaction that was about to take place Edith C*** (who they later reported as not being an employee with PMI) gave me her work schedule, License no, phone number with extension(doesn't work) and some other number.I wrote down everything she had agreed to concerning selling our timeshares She guaranteed that they PMI would sell our shares in 90-daysWe did a check over the phone in which $was withdrawn from our checking accountA contract was faxed to us and electronically signed by one of them After a month we started calling to see how the sell was progressing and we learned that we only had ten days to cancel the transaction We still believed that the company was legit
I was called by someone named Caleb at Premier Marketing International who said they represented the timeshare companies in *** to resell timeshares The caller ID on this solicitation was blocked He told me I would be guaranteed to receive a minimum of $17,and not more than $24,and that the unit would be sold the next dayHe explained there are no fees or closing costs; that the buyer pays those However to sell the unit requires the timeshare be transferred back into the pool for resale and that I needed to pay a $2,fee up front to do this He was very evasive when I asked questions about the process and what guarantees I would get that my property would sell When I challenged him on this, he got very aggressive with me so I hung up
