I am rejecting this response because: The company clearly lists a battery under the header specifying my particular *** unit and now claims that it doesn't matter; that I should have known better. Buyer beware. Sure, they'll refund the $cost of the battery, as long as I pay the 2-way shipping charges of $18. Batterymart is unethical, at the least and may be guilty of fraud and theft. However, this is not worthy of any additional time on my part and I'm dropping it, with the exception that I've posted to every complaint site I could find about what they do to their customers

12/26/16 customer purchased battery and received free shipping.01/25/17 Battery Mart was contacted by customer with concerns about his battery holding charge.  Return instructions were sent to customer. 04/03/17 customer sent Battery Mart a message on Facebook saying he had not received his...

pre-paid return label.04/04/17 Battery Mart sent return instructions and pre-paid return label to customer. Note – customer did not have to pay return shipping.4/10/17 Return was received at Battery Mart.  Battery was in an extreme state of discharge (5.93 volts) which indicates battery was either not installed correctly (with spacers provided at purchase) or was not being properly maintained or there was an external power drain.  After battery was fully charged it passed multiple load tests, registering at 350 Cold Cranking Amps (manufacturer rates at [redacted]).4/12/17 Customer’s good battery was returned to him at no cost.  Again, Battery Mart covered all shipping charges.   Complete details of test results, recommendations for proper charging, and new spacers were also provided to customer.  4/14/17 customer received his battery via [redacted] (tracking [redacted]).Battery Mart cannot offer additional support, product, or refund.

On 11/15/17 [redacted] placed an online order (#[redacted]) and entered his shipping address as:  [redacted]Hamilton, MT [redacted]USCustomer selected free standard ground shipping.  11/21/17 The item was delivered to customer.  [redacted] noted it was given to customer....

11/22/17 Customer contacted Battery Mart by email stating “What I received isn't what I ordered, I would like to return. I will send pictures if you would like so you can see what I received”. The returns department requested pictures of the item [redacted] received.  The returns department contacted the customer by email stating the brand of battery pictured in the box did not come from our warehouse.  The brand is carried by [redacted].  We have never carried the [redacted] brand and haven’t carried the part #[redacted] battery since December 2015.  The battery pictured in the box is a filled wet acid battery.  If a wet acid battery had shipped there would have been significant spillage and obvious damage to the packaging materials and box.    We cannot and do not ship any battery filled with wet acid via standard ground shipping.

We are sorry [redacted] is unhappy.  The lookup on our website for his [redacted] Network 40 surge protector does show more than one option as a replacement battery.  This is due to different battery types being installed during the manufacturing process.  It is necessary for customers to...

Says our website says this was correct battery. Battery was ordered and shipped via [redacted] as requested by customer.[redacted] delivered and handed packaged battery directly to customer.  Battery was not left outside at delivery.[redacted] returned a battery to our warehouse but was not in the original Battery Mart shipping box.  Battery returned from customer was not a product Battery Mart sells.  When original order left our warehouse the shipping weight (battery, packaging, & box) was 13.2 lbs.   Shipping weight can be viewed on [redacted] tracking.  Total weight of the return (battery, packaging, & box) was 12 lbs.

I am rejecting this response because: Battery was just as I received it, pictures received and when shipped. Exact box and shipping material. It was not WET either way as Battery Marts first excuse. THEY KNOW THEY ARE LIARS ABOUT THE SHIPPING BOX. That" why I took pictures!!!!!!!!!.
