Regards,

sorry for delay this email was going to my spam file Mr and Mrs [redacted] are very nice and very patient Yes the glass was wrong and yes it took forever to get replacement glass for the door, the vendor was out of stock on glass, with multiple delays  beyond our control. we did offer to...

replace the glass with a differant model but they chose to wait . well the wait is finally over ,the new glass was installed 12/31 /15 ..THANK YOU VERY MUCH MR AND MRS [redacted]...AND SO SORRY FOR THAT DELAY HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Poor work, worst customer service. Make sure you have everything you want written into contract. Taking stickers off third story windows and cleaning them after installed is not covered in contract , neither is damage done to surrounding .

Review: On May 18, 2015, we ordered custom front glass doors. Per the contract, I was required to put a down payment of $2450.00 and the remaining balance was due at install $2450.00

The company installed the doors the week of 13th July 2015. However the glass was not correct. I immediately contacted the company (Mr. [redacted]), he reviewed the order and told me that, yes the wrong glass was installed. He informed me that they will take care of this immediately. I have made numerous calls to the company and the only thing they say is the ordered are on back order. It is now Dec 1st 2015, I called them today and they are now telling me that this order is coming from China on a boat and they cannot tell me when it will be in. I am very frustrated with this company because a) I didn't get my product I ordered, b) the company does not keep my informed on the status of the order. All the calls has been initiated by me.Desired Settlement: Complete the job as promised and paid for.

Review: I had 4 doors installed from this company the invoice was written up as one price not individual prices the total was $9120.00. The installation of these doors was substandard and all concerns were addressed with the president [redacted]. Every reply from him was that is was standard. No attempt was ever made to fix my concerns. The front door I picked out was a hardwood with a speakeasy. When I was quoted the price he said this was one of the most expensive doors because of the fact it was hardwood and had the speakeasy. I was ok with that because it matched my hardwoods perfectly. When the door slats shrunk a couple weeks later I called to complain. A few weeks later they repaired it with some calking. By the time they came back the crack was huge about 1/2 inch all the way down from top to bottom. He replaced it with a fiberglass door with no speakeasy only a peekhole. I was not happy it did not match my floors, but when I requested the difference to be taken off he told my husband this door was more expensive. How can they both be more expensive? I was expecting a rebate at least for all the trouble I went through. Instead he threatened with a lean so I paid him so I want to warn everyone about his dishonesty. Also, very poor customer service and poor quality and I think I deserve a refund. Since I don't know the actual difference of the two doors because he just makes up the prices I think $500 is fair. After all I did not end up with the door I wanted because it was such poor quality. I trusted him because he mentioned he had a A+ rating on Revdex.com and it is on his card. I'm not sure if this is true. But I would give him a F- because he failed me as a customer.Desired Settlement: $500.00

Response:

This customer and her husband are two big scamers.they want me to comit fraud and perger myself by altering my invoices to reflect the work we did was at there business. not there home ! when told them I wont be a part of that ,he said then just give me a blank invoice I will fill it out.. I told him no..then he threatend me and said he would ruin my good name with bad reviews cant believe these people .they still owe me 500.00 I told them just keep the balance but you must remove the bogus reviews. and leave me alone.. To adresse there complaint and what they are saying is again untrue, but there was a problem with there front door and it did split fairly quickly, the week we installed the door the tempreture fell to mid twentys, they live close to mountains. so I gave them the option of getting a new door ( same model or differant model same type of door in knotty alder same spieces of wood as before ) or there is a third option I can replace with a composite fiberglass this is a more costly replacement option that I offered to them ( they have a very wide and tall door..rare size not many options ) at no cost to them..but it did not have a speakeasy .she said ,she really didnt like it anyway and really would rather just have peephole . after getting ok we installed new door and stained it same color as before .. then they brought up the invoice again..I still said no. they said they paid me with company checks and they were worried about an audit and that they really needed me to do this for them.. I again told them to leave me out of it..and here we are .. this has been just CRAZY.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

First

of all I have to say I was floored by this response, Where to start? CRAZY?

Crazy is right. Then I thought I really don’t have to say anything because with

this kind of response he has just cause irreparable damage to his company.

Anyone reading it will clearly see customer service is not important to him. He

continues to blame his customers for substandard workmanship. Just like he blamed the customer on the yelp

review I read after this happened to me. He blamed him for putting the door on

the wrong way (REALLY) that was the customers fault?.(I think not) Furthermore,

I am a Christian my integrity is worth more than $500. So no I won’t take down

my complaint. After all, it was my fault for not doing my due diligent, as it

is a buyers beware market. So I want to

help out my fellow consumer like the one who tried to warn me on yelp. Second of all, we asked for an itemized

invoice to show the prices for each door because what I received was one line

for $9120.00. It looks as if we bought one door not four. And I wanted the

difference of what my first door with the awesome speakeasy (The only one I

wanted) compared to the stupid plain door with the peekhole (The one I settled

with not happy with) As I knew the speakeasy was way more expense. When he texted

my husband with the difference he said the speakeasy door was $3100 and the

replacement was $1900. That was a big difference not just the $500 dollars I

was guessing as I had nothing to compare at the time I wrote the complaint. Also,

we did pay the installer the last $500 as per the threat of a lien on the

house. I don’t think the installer kept the check it was written out to Premier

One, he wouldn’t be able to cash it (I do have surveillance cameras) As he

pointed out this house like several others are owned by my business. So yes we

do need accurate accounting of all repairs done.(ie. Itemized invoices) Not for

fear of an Audit but because that’s what is right. I would say we need the

doors to be itemized for the simple reason of warranties for each door but that

would be a joke. But he makes it sound like we are doing something shady by

paying with a company check.(Sorry perfectly legit) As for his company he could

have scored a big account as we are remodeling several of our other business

owned property’s. (Not going to happen now I will be going to Lowes)Lastly,

this house is in the Inland Empire not the mountains it rarely get colder than

mid 60s never low 20s. That was just another excuse of his poor workmanship. I

think the only honest thing he said (Well somewhat honest) was we could keep

the$500 balance if we remove the review. What he really said is he would send

back the check if we removed the review. (Which proves the installer gave him

the check) I said no, I would not remove it. Because, what he DOES NOT understand is that it

is not always about the money. It’s about CUSTOMER SERVICE, Instead of

apologizing for his actions and trying to fix the issues with his customers he

blames, threatens, and lies about them. And people have the right to know who

they are dealing with. I hope I have helped someone make an informed choice. At this point I’m not expecting him to give me the refund I deserve,

frankly after our first complaint about the door and his response I knew he wouldn't. I’m just trying to share my experience.

Regards,

Business
