Premier Outdoor Living recently renovated both our front and back yardsThey did an unbelievably awesome job! Chilango and his crew leveled our backyard, which was nothing but two cracked concrete slabs and a ton (literally) of dirt, and transformed it into an oasis of peaceful tranquilityDesigned by Shaun (owner) and Mario (landscape architect) to include a retaining wall across the back of the yard and down the side of the house (ft.), gorgeous pavers, beautiful plants and flowers, artificial turf, an arbor, and my favorite, a hand-built footbridge over a dry creekbedMy husband and I actually did not like the first design presented to us, so Shaun went back and and re-designed a totally different yard; the one mentioned aboveHe was so easy to work with, and with his talent he took our vision of what we wanted for our back yard, and made it a reality for us
Previously we have had major trouble with drainage in the back yardYears of dirt buiwas a major problem and when it would rain, we would have to use sump pumps to get the water outWe now have below ground drainage everywhere, covering the retaining wall, the back and side yards, and also the front yard; we're hopeful that all the drainage we have now will alleviate any flooding problems we had beforeWith the bad El Nino coming, we are really glad we had this done now, instead of waitingOur front yard, designed by Mario, is another masterpiece; a little artificial turf, a six foot flower bed, drought resistant landscape with drought tolerant plants; beautiful! Also installed was drip irrigation for all the plants and flowers, front and back, with programmable timersShaun and Mario also addressed two of our major concerns, the first one being the plant and flowersWe needed good hearty foliage that was easy to grow; we haven't been very successful growing thingsThe plants and flowers Mario suggested, and planted, are perfectGrowing like crazy; I actually had to cut back the geraniums because they were coming over the retaining wall(They were little to start, and only planted at the beginning of July)Our other concern was gophers; we have had a problem for yearsBefore the plants went into the ground Chilango and his crew wrapped EACH plant with chicken wire so the gophers couldn't get themIt's worked like a charm!
After our initial meeting with Shaun when we kind of told him what we wanted, (we weren't really sure at that point), he made some really good suggestionsAnd when those suggestions were over our budget, Shaun worked with us diligently to bring the price down within our budget and still give us a FABULOUS front and back yardWe are the envy of the neighborhood!!
We are so appreciative of all the hard work that Shaun, Mario, Chilango and his crew put in to give us our yardsThere have actually been a couple of glitches though, but they were addressed immediately and resolved even fasterPOL backs up ALL their work and will make right any issue that comes upIt was a pleasure to work with a company that is so professional, yet personal enough to realize that this was a HUGE deal for usA BIG thanks everyone at POL! We would highly, highly recommend POL for any yard transformation, big or small!

We had a huge project, a total makeover for both front and back yard, and it took almost a year and a half to complete. The workers were very professional and hard working. The quality of the work was outstanding and the workers are versatile and not specialized in one task. They installed veneer on our house and chimney, completely removed our front yard and replaced it with a tropical yard with King palms, a river bed, and all tropical plants with drip irrigation. We have seen many cars slow down or stop in front of our house and
just look at our front yard, it truly is amazing. The back yard is a tropical
paradise in itself, it is amazing. They built a fabulous pool & spa, a great
outdoor kitchen with grill, fridge, double sink w/disposal, tank-less water
heater, a cabana w/ changing rooms, bathroom, outdoor shower, and tank-less
water heater, a great gas fire-pit, and a huge vinyl patio cover. They also
installed paving stones on all walking areas and tropical plants and palm trees
with drip irrigation. Everything is identified on change orders with cost and
as task are accomplished they are signed off, there was no hidden cost and we
finished on budget. Shaun is always looking at the latest technology and in every case he would find something better than originally projected such as pool lights, valves, landscape lights, etc, I think that Mario is a master at landscaping and provided great choices for us and our yards are so much more than we ever expected. It was a pleasure working with Premier Outdoor Living and even though the job is done we still consider them our contractor and friends and still communicate. Shaun's brother Chris, does our weekly pool maintenance and Mario brings a team by to do quarterly landscaping maintenance. They are the best!
