Premier Parking Enforce Reviews (4)

Review: I parked at one of Premier Parking's lots on Thurs. July 10th, The corner pf N. Galvez and Gravier St. behind LSU Hospital. I had a dr's appointment at 7:45 and was running late. I paid $5 cash and mistakenly entered the wrong parking space number. I placed it on the outside of my car; (my second mistake) When I returned to my car about 1 hour later, I discovered that my car was booted on both driver sides. The enforcement dispatcher told me that I would have to pay him $105 to get the boots off my car. I told him that I did not have that much money in my account and no credit cards with me, so he left. I called their 800 number and found out that the boot agents are sub contractors and could not give me information on how to remedy this problem. Without getting any assistance, I walked to Canal St with my 40 pond sewing machine to the street car stop and went to work 2 hours later. I left voice mail messages with Premier's parking center in Atlanta. Finally today, Monday after calling several times, I received a call back from [redacted] who told me that he would look into resolving this issue. I left another message and still have not received an answer to resolve this situation. I went to Premier's Parking website and filled out a complaint form about having my car booted. Even though it was my fault, I feel that I should not have to pay $105 or more since now my car has been on this lot since Thurs.morning. I am only making piecework as a seamstress and receive Social Security.I noticed that this company has a D+ rating and has received 15 complaints. I just want my car back. I have never had an automobile booted in my life!Desired Settlement: I want my car back without paying $105 or more to get it off their parking lot.

Review: I had parked the car in Premier's parking lot in error; that night when I got to the parking area, I saw the sign which said, "parking" I turned into the parking lot. The next morning I found that the car had been booted. When I explained to "[redacted]" that it was an honest mistake because it was dark and I didn't see the iron fence which divided the two lot's and I also had the parking tickets that the hotel had given me to place in the front as well as the back windows of the car, he refused to accept the fact and told me to pay the $115.00 "right now"! I have photos which would indicate that it was difficut to see. There were 3 people in the car and none of us saw the fence.Desired Settlement: Because it was an honest mistake I would like to be reimburse, also the lighting in the area should have been better

Review: This company has a parking lot located on Poydras street between Okeefe and N. Rampart. This company placed a boot on the vehicle while in line paying for parking and the bootman told us to apologize. unfair tactics and there is no time allowed between getting out of the car to pay and a boot being put on the car. the time between entering the lot and getting the boot may have been 5 minutes at most.An apology was not made and a 125.00 was charged for the boot.Desired Settlement: Refunded amount of 125.00

Response:

The consumer paid for a booting fine for failure to pay for parking. There are multiple signs on parking lot that state Customer Parking Only, all other will be booted. A man parked his car and then left the parking lot, he was not standing in line. When he came back to his car and realized that it had been booted, he called the consumer to pay to have his boot removed. The consumer arrived and paid for the boot, this was the first time she had been on the parking lot. Per New Orleans Parking Ordinance, the charges are legal. No Refund will be issued.

Review: On Sunday, October 20, 2013, I entered a lot adjacent to Rotollos restaurant where I planned to eat lunch. There was one vehicle in the first parking spot next to the sidewalk, and I parked in the second spot. I had the intention of asking the personnel in Rotollos if there was a fee to park on Sunday or did they validate your parking if you ate at the restaurant. When I walked to the front door, which was about 10 steps from my car, it was locked, so I turned and walked directly back to my car. When I arrived at my car there was a man standing there and he had placed a BOOT on my car for failing to pay to park. I tried to explain that I was going to ask the Rotollos personnel about parking, but he refused to listen. The ticket,#[redacted], stated that my car was booted at 11:37am and the Time Paid and Released was 11:38am. The charge was $125.00 for parking ONE MINUTE. I feel this act was unjustified and grossly unfair. I feel like the man who booted my car had to be watching me as I left my car, which means he also had to see me approach the door to Rotollos, and find it locked. There was no justification to boot my car.Desired Settlement: The attendant that booted my car charged my credit card $125.00 on a portable credit card machine. I would like a credit to my account.
