Premier Personal Training Reviews (2)

Review: My wife, [redacted], had suspended her account with Premier in January to attend to a sick family member. She was notified that her trainer was leaving Premier so she went to their facility on 4/8 to cancel her account. They told her that they had already scheduled a payment for 4/10 and they cannot cancel it. Attempts to get the payment refunded have been unsuccessful.Desired Settlement: Refund of $191.43 to my [redacted] card or any other form of payment.

Review: In April/May of 2014 I was notified that the company I worked for [redacted] was going to merge with [redacted] around the Oct/Nov 2014 time frame. I notified at that time both Eric for billing and Steve C[redacted] my trainer that it was unclear at that time whether or not I would be able to continue my membership. Both Eric and Steve C[redacted] said to continue until I knew for sure that the merger would go thru.

in June 2014 Eric needed to renew my membership. Since I knew the merger was going to take place Oct 24th 2014 I renewed for 6 months. Eric said just to call him and notify him that I could not continue my training at Premier.

After the merger took place, I tried to schedule appts for personal training. [redacted] had me attend several training sessions in that prohibited my making a session. My position in the company moved from [redacted] CT to [redacted] and [redacted] garages.

I was able to schedule a session occasionally. But I would need to cancel because of training or not being in town. I called Eric multiple times, leaving messages to call me. I finally left a message in Oct. stating that I could not continue my membership. I knew the membership was good thru Nov 2014, When I was able to attend a session I spoke with Steve C[redacted] and advised him I was trying to get in touch with Eric. Steve said that Eric was never in but he would relay the information.

On Nov 28th 2014 during my session with Steve I got hurt in the gym. I went to the doctor that day for a previously scheduled appt and they advised me that I should not to continue to work out and to rest up.

On Dec 1st I called into Premier and again stated no more gym due to my work situation and my injury. I also spoke with Steve and advised him of my injury and I would keep him updated on my recovery.

Again I never heard back from any one. I updated Steve that my wrist still was not right since our last session. I tried to call in multiple times and never received a response back from anyone.

On Dec 14th Steve advised me that Eric had been fired. At that time Steve said he would freeze my account and make note not to renew my membership. My 6 month commitment would cover my sessions up to Nov 2014.

On my Dec 2014 charge card invoice I had been charged for sessions for Nov. I called Steve and he said he would stop the withdrawals but the Nov 2014 charge was for my Nov sessions. I had 13 sessions remaining in Dec. on my account.

I confirmed on Dec 16th with Steve that I would no longer be able to make sessions. Steve confirmed that and stated the account had been frozen. I was never charged for Premier Personal Training in Dec 2014 leading me to believe the situation was rectified.

I was struggling at work with getting taken over and trying to get my job done.

In March 2015 I notified Steve that I was charged for both Feb and Jan statements. He said he had frozen the account and would look into it. Why would I be charged if I never renewed my membership.

I was then charged in March. I completely understood getting charged up until Nov 2014 but I do not understand why I was charged for 5 months of charges that I already notified Premier that I was not going to continue. I never gave authorization.

On March 5th 2015 Steve C[redacted] provided me with the same number ###-###-#### and to speak with Ned. This was the same number I had tried repeatedly to contact Eric on. I again called the number and advised Ned to contact me on ###-###-####. I never received a call back.

I called into my charge card company that same day and advised them of the situation. They stated they would contact Premier Personal Training and they would reimburse me for the Premier Personal Training charges. Only after I had contacted my credit card company and they reimbursed me did I ever receive a call back. Unfortunately Ned called my personal cell phone number and not my corporate cell phone that was provided. I was also out of state. Upon my return I called into ###-###-#### and left a message, advising Ned that he called the incorrect number and to call me on my corporate number that I again provided. I never received a returned call. The charges for that month were also thrown back onto my account.

I am so upset it is beyond words. My world was turned over with the company take over and trying to survive the transition. First of all I cannot believe Eric got fired and No one ever notified me or contacted me back. Second of all after I called my charge company and disputed the charge, why would you not call me back? Apparently no one at Premier Personal Training cares about customer service.

On April 7th 2015 Steve C[redacted] advises me his last day will be Friday April 10th 2015 that he was starting his own personal training business in [redacted] if I would like to see him there. Again I expressed angrily that I still had not rectified the Premier Personal Training billing issue. He apologized for any inconvenience that this may of caused me. He informed me that he had offered his services to [redacted] in [redacted]. to help with the transition with him leaving. They advised him he was out. At that time he jokingly stated good luck with getting my money back.

This is truly an unbelievable story. I do not think I am asking for much. A return phone call?, not to be charged for unauthorized months of service? It is impossible for me to even get to the gym let alone have a planned session. Working in the Southern part of the state makes commuting impossible to make any plans. I just can't believe that no one cares about Customer Service. My charge card was missed placed and I had to request a new card as a replacement.

I have been paying my [redacted] Fitness membership all along hoping to be able to find the time or energy to get there. You can look at that account and verify that I had not logged into the gym for almost over a year.

Finally now I receive a notice stating my account with [redacted] Fitness is delinquent on Sept 2015. That had been the first time I was contacted by [redacted] Fitness. I totally forgot that the monthly charge of $21.26 was also taken from the lost charge card. So since I was not able to get to the gym I never knew they were not getting payed.

I will settle up my account with [redacted] Fitness after I receive reimbursement for months of unauthorized service charges from Premier Personal Training. I was charged $446.67 a month from January 2015 thru May 2015. This totals $2233.35 owed to me by Premier Personal Training. I also have 13 sessions pending in my account. I did not cancel my [redacted] Fitness account and I apologize for any inconvenience this may of caused to their billing department.

All I am asking is for reimbursement from Premier personal training. Once this has been rectified I will willingly pay [redacted] Fitness for the service months May 2015 to present with out any penalty charges. My [redacted] Fitness membership is $21.26 a month. Funny how they have no problem collecting that money with the member not attending the gym.

I had nowhere else to turn to. I cannot get to Premier Personal Training during their business hours when I have tried to stop by after work, the door is locked. When you go and talk to the front desk of [redacted] Fitness they advise me to try to call the ###-###-####.

Please understand my frustration with this matter.

Once again my contact number is ###-###-#### painfully waiting for resolution.

Thank you for your time
