To whom it may concern,
Premier Properties did not receive the first notice there was a complaint
The consumer's complaint is correct except for the "unfair practices, dishonest landlord" commentsI will explain what happened: The current resident, who wanted to move out at 8420, met with me crying saying that she to needed moveI explained the day notice policy to her and said we will try and rent her apartment for June 15th (see attached notice dated 5/12/15)We rented the apartment and the lease was signed on 5/26/to the complainant for the apartment at Everything was fine until June 11th when we learned that the current resident's mortgage did not go through and was not movingPremier Properties trusted that the person moving out was to be out June 15th, as she requested on her vacate notice (see notice saying can be out by June 15th), but we did not get it in writing (a mistake that will not happen again)At this point there were many optionsThe first being, find out what the complainant needs are or schedule isWe then called the complainant to talk to her and explained the situationThe complainant was called by a Premier Properties representative and she got very upset
The problem was then explained to me and I called the person who was supposed to move out on the 15thShe said, she had planned on moving out on the 15th, but learned on the June 10th she did not get her mortgageSince we required her to give the day notice in the beginning and nothing else was in writing we would have to honor that notice and thus she was staying till the end of JulyShe then said that it was possible she would get the mortgage done sooner and she may be able to get out earlyI explained how disappointed I was in her for not honoring our agreementI then said I would see if there was anything I could do by talking to the complainant and get back to her
So I called the complainant, she was still very upset and was screaming at meI tried to explain different options and she would not listenThe complainant had no desire to work with us to solve the problemShe then requested all her money back and I agreedI felt after listening to her on the phone about how upset she was it was best for both of us to move onSo I waited for her to come to our office and pick up the deposit and application fee that night
I have been in the apartment business for more than years and when problems occur it seems you can solve most of them by working together in a calm and sensible wayAs in this example, after the complainant picked up her money and voided the lease I called the resident who was to move out to say the apartment was not rentedShe said that she was sorry and had found a place to stay if we would pay for storage of her stuff fora couple of weeksThis would have been one of many options that may have worked to solve this unfortunate situation
I am very sorry this happenedAll of us at Premier Properties know how important our job is and never take for granted the privilege we are given to provide housing for someoneIt is my hope that the complainant would give us another chance and we will do all we can to find her a place to call home

Hi [redacted], I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication on my end. I am more than happy to send you a check with a full refund of $298.  If you would prefer that I credit your card, I am able to do so. However, I would need you to send me your card number and...

expiration date again as I do not keep that information on file. When you get a moment, could you please give me a call at ###-###-#### or email me once more at [redacted]@gmail.com? Once again, I  sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. You are certainly eligible for a full refund and I am sorry to hear that the product wasn't helpful for you. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the information is false. We left multiple messages and also habe pictures to include from the time we move in. Our dogs did not live inside because my wife was pregnant which is why webmoved from the previous home.
[redacted] would not allow us to speak with [redacted] because he stated she no longer worked for the company. I know the new tenant on Holly and we have spoken. The garage was not dlfixed until they moved in. We have pictures of that as well. The realtor and [redacted] work together, and the way that we were presented by the realtor whom sold us iur home is alo under unvestigation as the final inspection was not completed. We were on [redacted] st from feb 2014 - 3/30/2015 not to break our lease.  My wife has decided to hire a lawyer for legal representation for both companies
Regards,
[redacted]

This is the worst place to live. They never fix anything, my apartment fills with cigarette smoke from the neighbors and makes it hard for me to breathe. The landlord is very rude. He actually told me I was stupid and dumb.
