Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThere are a number of inaccuracies in the Service Provider's response to this complaint. As a whole, the facts remain:
-This project was paid for in full prior to the start of the project-The project has never been reviewed or signed off on as being completed by the consumer.
-From the consumer's perspective, this project has been abandoned by the service provider. This is worsened by the fact that the consumer has no financial legs to stand on in an attempt to motivate project completion, as the service provider has received the money owed already.

The work with the customer in an attempt to resolve the issue and tell the customer became belligerent and derogatory toward me and my company and made accusations and defamatory statements

Yes, We did receive payment up front in full for the the original contracted work.  The contract did state that 2 coats would be applied to all  areas including woodwork and customer stated the wood work  would be the same color. The wood work color we ended up being supplied...

with by the customer was quite different and needed additional coats.  We informed the customer of the color difference and that extra coats were needed. The price for additional work was listed on the contract.  So even though we did receive the original contract amount we never received the amount for the extra work but will not be seeking any additional amount as we wish to cease contact with the customer over defamatory and slanderous comments made to us by the customer. The customer said my crew removed the railing to paint and placed it out side where it was ruined.  This is false as I personally removed and re-installed it myself.  I was there the day the customer was having furniture moved in. The customer had several sets of couches and for what ever reason after one set was moved to the basement the customer had the movers move it back upstairs.  I saw the movers struggle on the stairs and I'm sure they must have removed.Windows were not painted shut  My crew and I left them open to air out.  After I left my crew touched up a few windows and let the customers husband know they need time to dry.  If they got shut after my crew left while still wet that could have caused problems.  Re:Stain in Hallway.  We did apply Kilz to the stain prior to painting. The customer may want to check for moisture problems.  The customer did contact me regarding touch ups.  I made several attempts to get back with the customer which I finally did after a while. I went and inspected the property. The few things I did notice were   1.The customer made several holes in the bathroom and did some patching  2.There were areas of door trim that got banged while moving furniture and had scratches.  3. I did notice the stain in the hall.I responded to the customer stating that some of the areas would be additional charges since she did the patching and so forth. The customer was very disrespectful and made  defamatory and slanderous comments to be about her husband being a "ex-pot head" and that my crew and I had pot at her house.  I found this totally uncalled for as neither my crew or I use and drugs.  Frankly I was quite mad about her stupid remark and told her I was ceasing further contact.[redacted]
