Over charged and late to reconcile credit due has resulted in suspension of my flexible spending account.

I was requested to pay for a procedure at time of service. This seemed odd since it was much higher than my normal copay. Once the billing went through with my insurance it became clear that I was overcharged. I contacted Premier Radiology but was given the run around, they first needed an explanation of benefits from my insurance company, once that as provided they delayed the process even further by stating they could not credit the card which it was charged against, but would have to mail me a check, which may take an additional 2 weeks. Well, it has been over 2 months now since the date of service and still no check.

My flexible spending account provider, who I used to pay for the service, also challenged the overpayment. Premier radiology's delay in credit my flexible spending account has resulted in suspension of that account. That means I am not able to use funds that I have already set aside for my families medical expenses!

It is interesting that when you call XXX-XXX-XXXX they have an option to press 3 for account credits. Apparently overcharging a common practice. When I called this number it rolled to voice mail.
