Premier Wedding Venues

When we originally booked this venue we were promised everything, when the final meeting came our expectations were quickly shot down. We were promised ANY signature drink we may want and what you meant by that was 5 flavors of arbor mist wine to choose from. Also on our menu was bacon wrapped tenderloin, this was on our final bill and menu as well, there was no bacon and the response to that was "I never told her that, it’s a sample menu"... then why send it on my FINAL BILL AND MENU. Also were promised all linens and matching bows. That quickly changed to an added price of course since you got "newer" chairs. And the linens on the table were not even the right color! Well let me explain something, when someone books a venue 2 years ahead of time and tells you that you are locked in to the price/amenities that you signed for on that day, you tend to believe them. Well clearly we were stupid for doing that. I was told by multiple guest’s how rude the bartender was. A server spilled an ENTIRE tray of the signature drinks that WE paid for on the mother of the bride and all down the father of the bride’s jacket. My décor was not put on the altar although I was promised that would be taken care of too, so after it was half put up my groomsmen and guest went to fix it. Also touching base on outside, DO NOT promise a bride that the leaves will be cleaned up when you do not intend to do that at all. The entire back was a mess including a few wet chairs. On the wedding day I ar==rived at the front door to no one to greet me or send me to the bridal suite. A post on facebook was put up in September saying we give all our brides the best with champagne and strawberries. We were only greeted with champagne and told “well they never got eaten so we don't do it anymore”, well maybe then you should not post it on your Facebook! At the end of the night your staff was so kindly THROWING my décor in the boxes when my sister, the maid of honor said stop ill just put everything away because she did not want all the hard work I just put in on the décor to go completely to waste. I also don’t appreciate the owner eating the food off our buffet, drinking at the bar, and telling the DJ to turn down the music/change the music style when I picked almost the entire playlist. If I recall there were guests coming down from upstairs and crashing our wedding because they said it was much more fun. The beer I was promised was not there, although that simple mistake was corrected immediately, just pretty annoying to get to my cocktail hour and not have my drink of choice until a half hour later. Also some of my decorations were never returned to me. I was told that the staff watched them all get put on the RV. Funny thing is, my sister was not on the RV and still cleaning up the room once the RV had been long gone! She said there was not a single staff member to be found. And since I have been posting my grievances to the facebook page many other guests have commented on it mentioning specific issues they had as well with rude staff! This place is not one I would ever recommend to anyone and trust me word of mouth is everything. At my age I come in contact with a lot of to be brides on a daily basis. Perhaps if someone would actually deal with this situation rather than ignore it, I would have less hard feelings buts it’s been over a week and my sisters complaints must have fallen on deaf ears. ---- Comments sent directly to the venue VIA email.

this is where I got married last week and what a JOKE. we were promised so much when we wrote the check but everything went downhill from there. let me just start with when my wedding party showed up the reception wasn't ready, the bar was having its plumbing worked on and there was leaves everywhere after being promised the night before they would be taken care of, and and of course the alter wasn't even decorated yet 5 mins before the ceremony and when they did it was sloppy and someone from the crowd went up and fixed it. next we were promised we could have anything we wanted for a "signature drink" yet at the last meeting were told that was never the deal and we could choose from 5 different flavors of 5$ arbor mist. we fought that and were allowed to bring our own drink but we had to supply so naturally they spilled half of our drinks on the mother and father of the bride! The owner never apologized. To this day he has not apologized or offered and solutions me and my wife
