Review: I was seen by Dr. [redacted], MD [redacted], ###-###-#### for my routine Gynecological care exam which includes routine tests and related lab works on April 15, 2014 for the first time. The visit was covered 100% by my plan.Upon my arrival, they charged me a $45 mandatory administration fee which would repeat on an annual basis. The fee was not covered by my plan for that visit and it was not discussed with me prior to my appointment.After a very short and quick examination, Dr. [redacted] refused to order the lab tests that are included in a basic check-up during any gynecological exam such as; CBC, Chemistry Panel, Lipids Panel, TSH, Urinalysis. He claims that the only test he gets paid from the insurance company for a routine exam is pap smear. He said in order to complete my check up I should request for a new appointment and to pay for another office visit. He also prescribed a supply of six months of birth control medication instead of one year. He indicated that a refill can be made upon another visit beyond six months.Unfortunately, I don not feel confident that Dr. [redacted] supports quality patient care. He is obviously distracted from his main task and he is worrying about financial matters rather than providing care for his patients.Desired Settlement: Since I am not a returning client, my requests are: 1. A refund on the $45 administration fee2. Performing the lab works to complete my annual exam
