Review: Shady as all get out. Put down a $500.00 deposit on a car and decided I didn't want it. They hemmed and hawed because t hey put a water pump into it and wanted to give me back $400.00 now and a $100.00 when they sold the car. I told them no as I don't own the car, own the water pump, nor did I sign a sales contract with them. At that point they refused to give me my deposit back. I had to leaveDesired Settlement: Refund my $500.00 deposit in full

To Whom It May Concern,

On November 6, 2013, the customer in question, ID [redacted], decided to buy a 2000 Jeep. A request by customer to have work done to the vehicle and a price were negotiated and agreed upon. At that time we informed customer that a deposit would be needed. The customer left a 500.00 credit card deposit in which he received a receipt.

The work customer requested to be done on vehicle was performed before customer decided he no longer wanted vehicle, at which time we told customer that due to the work we had done on his behalf, we were able to refund him 400.00 of original deposit and were holding 100.00 for the repairs done, until we sold vehicle.

Repairs and work done to vehicle were more than the original deposit, therefore we felt that giving him 400.00 back and keeping the 100.00 until vehicle was sold was more than fair. Customer stated that this was not good enough and he would just have charges reversed from his credit card through his financial institution. Customer then left dealership and we have had no contact with him.

Said vehicle has since been sold and we would be more than happy to return to customer his full deposit upon confirmation that charges have not been reversed through financial institution,

As to the customer stating that our business dealings are "Shady as All Get out", our company has been in operation for 28 years and we did exactly what was asked of us.

Review: I purchased a 2000 honda accord from them in June of 2014. As soon as I got it there were transmissin problems which they resolved due to my warranty. Ive recently taking it to get inspected and they would not inspect it due to the frame around the engine being rusted. Which two different mechanics told me was not worth fixing. It would cost well over 1000$ and the car is only valued at 700-1100$. And also that it would nit have rusted in the manner in whivh it has in a years time. As Im still paying on this car and owe almost 6000$ on it I called the loan comapny they tried but were unable to help. They in turn got in touch with premier auto who told them that they would be willing to work with me since they sold me the car. I went to premier on the loan companys advice premier absolutely would not work with me or honor what they told the loan company. They told me I needed the loan company to give me more money and their own personal mechanic would handle it. The loan company was willing to swith the loan to another car if premier was willing to that. Against their word to the loan company they also refused to do that. Based on two differnt mechanics they had to have known about the issue when they sold it. I truly feel that it is in bad business practic to sell someone something that you know is defective. I also feel its in bad business practice not to honor your word when you give it.Desired Settlement: Exchange

To Whom It May Concern:The customer called us on the phone Monday, January 4, 2016, in the afternoon and explained that she took her car to her mechanic and was told that the vehicle would not pass inspection as it was and needed work done to it in order to pass. She wanted us to exchange her vehicle for a different one because of the problems she had getting her car inspected. We contacted the loan company shortly thereafter and we were told that they had already told her that morning that they could not help her on a new loan. It is a false claim, that we told the loan company that we would exchange vehicles for her as we did not speak to the loan company until after she contacted us. After discovering that the loan company was unable to help her, we tried to help her out by getting a second opinion on the inspection of the vehicle at no charge to her, but she refused to allow us to do that claiming that her mechanic could not be incorrect. In regard to the claim that we had to have been aware of the issue when we sold the vehicle, there were no issues with the frame at the time of purchase. The customer had the vehicle inspected once prior to this issue and it passed.Premiere Auto Sales has been in business at this location for over 25 years. Much of our business is from repeat customers. We take pride in our work and strive to make every customer happy. We would be happy to help this customer get the vehicle repaired at the lowest price.Sincerely,Eric B[redacted]Premiere Auto Sales

Review: I purchased a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe from Premiere Auto at the end of July with a 6 month unlimited mileage warranty. Since then I've taken it to my mechanic to see what would need fixed before inspection as I always do when buying used cars. I hadn't expected anything major to be wrong considering the dealer told us it was in good shape. On the way to my mechanic and personal friend the check engine light came on 2 days after the purchase of the vehicle. An evap leak. He also told me the front axles needed replaced and there were 2 holes in the muffler. Then on my way home after stopping for gas I found out why the check engine light was on. There is a hole somewhere around the fuel tank. The speedometer and odometer also don't work. We assumed we could fix that with the warranty, which now I know I can't. Then about 2 weeks ago the tires just locked up in the middle of the road. Found out it was the transmission transfer case. The mechanic files the claim to the warranty company and I get a letter in the mail a week later from the warranty company that my policy has been forever cancelled. After calling it seems the policy has been cancelled because the odometer doesn't work even though it was sold like that and wasn't covered under warranty to replace.Desired Settlement: I know it's illegal in the state of PA to sell a lemon knowingly. I'd like the dealer to settle this issue by replacing the lemon with a running vehicle.
