Tell us why here...Premiere Hot Tubs delivered their swim spa on 10/13/17, however as noted the City of Cibolo inspector shut down the project before we could install their cover lifters and steps. In nearly years no city in Central TX has ever required Premiere to pull a permit to install
a hot tub or swim spa as they are not permanent installations. Permits generally are required for both electrical and concrete work, however this customer did not request that Premiere serve as their General Contractor. This customer contracted both their electrical work and concrete work themselves and it is our understanding that neither of their contractors pulled permits prior to this customer scheduling our delivery on October 13th. The lack of these permits is the reason the City Inspector shut down our installation, though when we called the City, they did inform us they wanted permits from us also. We understand that the owner obtained both their electrical and concrete permits retroactively, as have we. Copies of our Permits are attached. We have spoken with *** *** and are informed that the City of Cibolo does not require a permit for a crane. They require only an email informing them when and where a crane will be used. When we spoke with the City of Cibolo they told us that though we have never encountered a city that requires a permit for a hot tub or swim spa, they do. They actually require permits. We completed both on 10/26. We called and left a message that day with this customer informing them and requesting that we return to their home to complete the installation of the Swim Spa cover lifter and steps. They did not return our call. We called again late last week asking for confirmation of a return visit for 11/8. Again they have not returned our call. On Sat., 11/7, this customer sent emails to our salesperson who sold them their swim spa noting that they intended to contact the Revdex.com. I personally called them on Saturday leaving a message that I was available until 6:on Saturday and also between Noon and 5:on Sunday. I also sent them an email noting the above information, including copies of the permits. They have chosen to not return either my phone call or email.The steps this customer refers to are custom ordered and are exactly what they ordered. I have attached their Sales Order noting this. When this customer first brought up the issue of their steps they indicated that they would return to our San Antonio store on Sat., 10/21, to discuss this with our sales person who sold them their spa. They did not and have not returned to speak with our salesperson. Note that both their cover lifter and steps are on site at their home. We need only return to complete this installation which to-date we have been unable to do as they have chosen to not return phone calls and emails since 10/26/
