Premiere Medical Career Educators Reviews (3)

Review: This company advertises itself as an accredited school and promises the students that pay an average of one thousand US dollars per class, that they will be able to test for a National certification upon completion of the course. I completed my course Feb. 7th 2013 and as of today, June 6th 2013 the company is STILL not accredited and no student that has attended and paid for the class has been able to test and become certified. I have requested a refund, and was denied because they are still in the process of "meetings" trying to find another testing agency for it's "students". That was not the agreement in the contract when they were paid. I have been unable to test, or find a job because Phlebotomy requires a National certification.Desired Settlement: I have requested a refund and will proceed with a lawsuit if not refunded in a timely manner.

After speaking with [redacted] from the company she stated the company is willing to give the customer a refresher course at no additional charge. Company has changed over to ASPT customer will need to take her national exam through them in order to become certified. Customer can call [redacted] for further assistance.

Response:

We were approved by SCHEV to run the program. However the number of hours completed were not sufficient. Students have been referred to another institution to complete their sticks and sit for the national certification exam. We cannot issue refunds for a class which has been offered and there is a solution for students to become certified.

Review: When I made my down payment to this school for the phlebotomy class, they told me they were accredited with a national testing center. It also said they were on their website. Once the class started, they could never express to me who they were accredited by. I finished the class on February 4th, 2013, they told me to give them a week and they could give me a testing date. Well, I waited a week and I never heard back from them. I stayed in contact and they said to me, there were some complications and it would take a little longer than expected to get a testing center. So I waited and finally received the okay from Premiere Medical Career Educators in April that I could take my national phlebotomy certification test through [redacted]. I called [redacted] received the next available date of June 28th, so I sent my application in along with my payment to the [redacted] to only receive an email from them saying Premiere Medical Career Educators is not accredited and I can not take my test. Not only have I lost the tuition for the school but I had to try and get a refund from the [redacted] for a careless mistake. In which, I am not getting the full payment back because of a processing fee. I also lost time and gas since I lived a hour and half away from the school. I took this class to help me with my career as becoming a nurse but in reality this class has done nothing but caused me headaches and stress.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the tuition that I paid for the class even though I have lost a lot more money than that. I will be happy with the tuition for the class.

Response:

Our School is approved by [redacted]. We have had issues with the current testing site [redacted] because of our name change from MG School of Health Professions to Premiere Medical Career Educators. There were some issues regarding the length of the course as well. We are currently addressing those issues. Our students are now testing with [redacted]) We have a date scheduled for students to take the test. They can contact the school for more information. [redacted] is not an accrediting body. They are just one of the numerous testing centers.

Please feel free to contact the school for more information.
