Premium Movers Reviews (%countItem)

Premium Movers overcharged me and destroyed my furniture. The insurance company has yet to refund me for the damage.
On April 20th, I set up an appointment with premium movers to help me move the next day. The man told me that I could use the *** coupon for 10% off and he said don't worry about purchasing it on ***, he would honor the deal for $110 for two hours of moving. They came to my home, and eventually started moving my items. I only had 2 small rooms for them to move. Once, they finished they asked for the address for where they were moving the furniture to, and my mother wrote it down for them with the apartment number despite the fact that I already informed the boss when I set up the appointment. Afterward, we got in our car to meet them there. However, as we were driving they REFUSED to follow us. We were waiting for 20-30 minutes for them to show up! The drive was only 10 minutes away. They called me and told me that they got lost and they couldn't find the right address on the ***. Eventually, they decided to come, and took five minutes to even start unloading the furniture. As they were unloading the furniture, I noticed that once they set my oak desk down, it was completely broken on the sides and the whole top had came off. It's unstable. Also, one of my shelves in my dresser had collasped. They also completely shattered my mother's mirror and refused to take it out the truck so she could see it. After they finished unloading all the furniture, they informed me that the price was $290. They claimed it was because it took an additional hour despite it being their fault. They actually tried to ride the clock, so that they can take over two hours. I was also informed that the TIME STARTS AS SOON AS THEY TEXT ME THAT THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY instead of when they start lifing furniture. Unfortunately, I only had the amount of cash that I was SUPPOSED to pay to them, so I gave him $110. He refused to leave and take the money until I figured out an arrangement. He asked did I have any other money, I told him I have a card and he informed me that I could pay with a card. He called his accountant, and I was forced to give my card information over the phone with him behind me listening. The accountant took $180 out of my bank. Additionally, when I addressed the broken furniture, he asked me to calculate the pounds of the desk so that he could determine how much I could get for my damaged furniture. My oak desk was in fair shape, it was very sturdy and it costs well over $250. He told me that their insurance company can only give me $60 for my desk and $10 for my mother's mirror in *** weeks. It is now June, and I still haven't received anything!!!

Desired Outcome

I am seeking money for my damaged computer desk and mirror.

I hired premium movers moving company out of Hermitage based off reviews on *** and ***. They had good reviews on *** as well as a complaint from the *** that was ruled their favor. Upon further research, they are NOT a member of the ***.
Premium movers moved my property on 10/11/19 twenty minutes away from my old address. During the move, very little of my property was protected and all the furniture has been gouged and needs repairing or replacing. The moving truck was packed so poorly that they had to use straps to attempt to shut the rear doors. I have submitted pictures to the owner of the damages that his employees did to my new home and my personal property. There was a 3-way conversation with the owner, myself, and the driver where they admitted that not all of my belongings were protected for the move. Based off this information, the owner stated that his insurance would not be responsible for the damages that his company did to my property and he would be out of pocket.
I was overcharged for the move itself. I caught one of his employees playing on his cell phone, as well as moving slow due to back issues. I have asked for an itemized bill for the services rendered by the moving company. I have not received one. My total cost for the move was $1147.75. I purchased the *** for $120.00 that included 2 hours of service with 2 movers and a truck. I was charged an additional $927.75 for the duration of the move. In addition, the movers were unable to move a piece of furniture upstairs and I paid an additional $100.00 to have it moved. I paid $200.00 in cash and the remaining on my credit card.
I requested numerous times for the owner to reach out to me. He has returned one phone call. I have had to email him multiple times as well as multiple text messages to get any response from him. Upon texting him, the owner said that he has received my emails and that he was going to review the damages first hand and said that he would come by personally to see them. He made the appointment on 10/27@ ***. He never showed. I proceeded to reach out to him an hour after via text message.
Upon making contact, his first question was 'How much money do I want'? I replied to him and stated that I want what is fair and for him to make me an offer. His first offer was $250.00. He stated that per my email I said I wanted half of the charges returned to me. Half of the charges would be $573.87. He has now offered me .60 cents for every pound of furniture at 1,000 pounds for a total of $600.00. This amount will not cover the cost of the damages to my property that need to be replaced as they are damaged beyond repair.
As a consumer, I do not want this to happen to any additional people. And I feel that due to the lack of responsibility, Premium movers is responsible for all damages that I have incurred to my personal property and residence. The residence is a rental property and with the damages, I could possibly forfeit my security deposit of $1,775.
