For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards, *** ***I absolutely cannot accept the response to my original complaint because it is a blatant lieI never insisted that the work be done in one dayThat does not even make senseAs I said in my original complaint,when he was trying to leave, this business owner came back from his truck upset and said there was "no way" that he would come back again to give my deck another coat of paintSo why would I insist that I wanted it done in one day if he's telling me he's not coming back? Sounds like he wanted to complete the project in one day, certainly not me It was his decision to leave in the middle of the dayPlease see attachments for written documentation that says :Message 1: "I will coat the deck floor for that price and stairs but railings will be a single coat unless you add 150" Message " I'll tell you what give me and I'll do railings two coat too"Message 3: "for deck"The job contracted for was coats of paintIt is simple, he did not do two coats of paint as evidenced by the attached photos. He writes that he insists he did the scope of the work contracted for, and he did not.Then he says "in the time specified"There was no time specified whatsoeverIn fact I even documented in my first complaint that he said there was "no way" he would come backI didn't care how many times he came back as long as the deck had coats applied properly. He never told me it needed to be done a second time and a week later to be done properlyThat is a flat out lieThe can says to wait 2-hours before second applicationIt says nothing about waiting a weekThere was absolutely no discussion about an additional fee as evidenced by my attached documentation of our conversation. Again, it is simpleThe contract was for coats of paintIt was his decision to leave at 1:in the afternoon and not come back to finish the jobMy decision to pay him as documented in my initial complaint was because I was scared that he was raising his voice and took an aggressive tone with me while I was holding my year old daughterThis is what prompted me to contact the Revdex.com.I would like to note the workmanship of the one coat of paint appliedPlease see photos they speak for themselvesI've shown another contractor the same photos and he couldn't believe how my deck was leftHappy to provide his information for referenceIt required scraping of thick roller lines and an initial coat of paint in bare spots on the railings before I even applied a second coatHe knew that the deck had not been treated before He came out and stood on it before offering to take on the job several days later. In closing I would very much like a resolution to this complaint but I will not accept lies and I reject his partial refund Thank you for your support, I look forward to hearing how to proceed from here.
