Review: I had an ultrasound at "presbyterian imaging center university" on 11/12/2012 for which I have been billed $251.34. They submitted the claim to insurance company and they denied it. Last year (12/16/2011) I had same service at same location by the same health care officer and insurance paid 100% of the cost (Nothing is chanced this year on my side same physician, same test, same person performed ultrasound and same insurance). So I called the insurance company asking why they have denied my coverage this year when they paid 100% last year and Insurance company told me this is because the service provider has changed the billing process, they have used some different billing codes. So I called the billing department of "presbyterian imaging center" to change the billing and make it like the way they did it last time. But they are saying we already told you that you will be charged for this and not willing to change the codes.When I went for Ultrasound I was asked to pay $251.34 and when I mentioned that last year my insurance company paid 100% of the charges. They never told me that they have changed the billing procedure. They just told that lets have the ultrasound and if they paid last year they will pay this time to....If they have told me that they have changed the billing procedure (Which they never told me) I might have not had ultrasound at their location and have it somewhere else where they follow the right billing method..Desired Settlement: Use the Billing method used last year as I was not told that they changed the billing procedure which will cost this high fees.Thanks
