First of all, the so called manager was not in till the next daySo the information that was given to him was second handI did point the shower head down to the floor and that did not helpI'm not stupid and do know how to put a shower curtain in the tub when taking a shower and not on the
outside of the tubI’m an adult and would prefer not to take a bath if that’s okay with you? I do have video of that shower while it was running, as well as the water on the floor and the toilet paper being wet due to the showerI did show that to the front desk lady at the time (around 7:when we took our first shower) I was given a new shower curtain and more towels to clean up the bathroom floor and she was very sympathetic to the issuesThe lady at the front desk told me her sister had stayed at the hotel in the past and she had the same issues! Right after we checked in, we put our stuff in the room and left right away till it was dark, so we had no chance to check stuff and use stuff till it was time to get ready for bedI did not need a wakeup call, I wanted to contact the front desk for the issues (after I had taken a shower) and I was not able to make any callsThe little things were fine at first like the toilet seat not working right or the stains on the chairs around the tableBecause it was little but as stuff kept adding up the more irritated I was gettingSo the shower was the last straw for me!
You are correct I was very upset (but not with the lady at the desk that night only with the so called manager the next morning he made me VERY upset), when I went to the front desk that night to address the issuesI was told by the lady at the front desk that the manger would be in first thing in the am and that they would work with meWhen I went to the front desk about 8am I was told that a manager would not be in till like 10:00amI wanted out of the hotel and I had plans for the day and for the rest of my holiday weekendAfter the man asked me why I was asking I told him and showed him the videos on my phone, he became angry with my issues I was addressing and basically was chuckling and saying like oh well! I then asked again for the mangers name and he then told me he was the managerWhy did he lie? He said because “all people want to do is complain” who lies to their guests about being a manager/owner? That is bad business, I have NEVER EVER asked for my money back from a hotelI felt this was such a bad experience that he should have compensated in some way, and not ONE time did he seam concerned, sympathetic, passionate about anything I was addressing about his hotelIf the lady at the front desk would have told me that my chances of getting any return was next to NOTHINGI would have slept in my car and left right at that time
Because of this issue and because of this man, not having any passion for his hotel, guests, or concerns on his propertyI have contacted and spoken to about major departments in regards to this hotel (example Health Department)I have filed MANY reviews on web pages about the property and its issues I experienced during my hotel stayAll I was asking for was something, something from this man that showed that he was concerned about the issues in his hotel rooms, something that told me he was concerned or compensate in some way shape or formBut I got absolutely nothing
