Sorry for the delay in responding to the complaint from a previous customer of mine that I did an inspection last year, July 27, 2015.  I have never yet received a complaint to the Revdex.com in all of my years of membership. I somehow over looked that this is something that I need to respond...

to. As you should have been aware I called in last week and talked with Tom, the branch manager or supervisor of your office to get a better understanding that I need to respond to the complaint. He was kind enough to give me an extension. I would like to start off with response to both Ms. Y[redacted] & Mr. H[redacted] that I felt that they were very pleased with my services when I concluded after the inspection. I even came back to an did a no charge re-inspection because the gas was off a time of the original inspection for them. I then followed up with a courtesy call that I provide for all of my clients to check back with them two days later to find out if there is any other questions that may have. If I can remember since it has been over one year since the inspection that they were appreciative of my call and they did not have any other questions. This call is to follow up and see if I can answer any other questions or concerns that they may have after the time spent at the property. I would like to point out that I do not recall voiding or ignoring any phone calls. I honestly don’t recall receiving any calls regarding their concerns on asbestos or gas issues. This is not the kind of business I have ran over 17 years.  I also never received any emails or letter by mail. After reviewing the report, I do not see any comments that I made about asbestos in the closets or vents. I however did identify that the duct suppling air flow to the house from the HVAC unit that the ducts may contain asbestos type material and one may consult with an abatement expert if desired. I explained to the clients which I do on every inspection that there are three areas in a house build before 1978 that may contain asbestos type material, duct work in the attic, vent piping called transite which is clay material and popcorn or acoustic type ceilings  We also let clients know in our standard residential inspection agreement that we do not do any environmental evaluations regarding the presence of asbestos. As far as gas is concerned, when we did the original inspection the gas was off to the hot water heater and furnace.  When I came back to do a courtesy re-inspection, only the hot water heater was turned on so I was only able to re-inspect all of the fixtures within the house to make sure that hot water was present. It was noted in the addendum that I send out to all parties after the re-inspection that was done on the 1st of August 2015 that the furnace was not tested because the gas was still off to the unit and to still have it rechecked by seller as soon as possible before the close of escrow or contingency period. I would like Phanita and Matei give me a call at their soonest convenience. Again I never want void or ignore my clients. This is not the way I do business. I pride myself on good communication with the clients because this is something that goes with looking after their investment.     S[redacted]Precision Inspection Srvc, Inc.
