Presidential Pools & Spas Reviews (84)

We go out of our way to make sure customers understand the potential damage to existing landscaping during construction of a pool The attached Sales Disclosure documents was reviewed with the customer at the time of contact signing to make sure this was understood This information was reviewed once again with the customer prior to the excavation of the pool The clearance of the pool fence was passed by the city inspector, and there is concrete decking next to the fencing which makes it impossible for anyone to undermine the fence to gain access to the pool area The pool equipment area was re-plumbed to allow as much clearance as possible We would be happy to talk about reimbursing any reasonable request for costs incurred by the customer due to any negligence by our subcontractors, but the demands made to this point are not reasonable

We are sorry that you have been experiencing issues with your twelve-year-old Presidential Pool *** [redacted] , our Service Manager, has met with you and I believe has resolved all of your issues Please feel free to contact us at any time for help with your pool

For the front yard - needs re-leveling, more rock because it has been mixed in with the dirt, replace tree that was hit, paint fence, re install the border bricks and replace the broken ones, cost a min of $2, The tuff shed that was going to be built on the side of the house will not fit, due to filter system not installed to planNow I will have to build a different shed to incorporate the filter system with less spaceCost min $Fence space underneath not to code, rather the kicking some dirt under it I want fence to be removed and installed correctly, Cost min $2, To eliminate risk of guaranteed mess ups and wasted time I only want refunded money

We can go back and forth with this problem There has been concerns about the delays, there is no updates nor follow up unless I request by text or email 1-weeks will go by and no updates sent or explanation as to why there are no activities happening in the backyard Jarrod W*** the project manager is good as saying "it's taken care of, I'm in contact with the contractors, landscapers..." If there were no problems or concerns there would not be a Revdex.com report complaint filed Don't be mislead by these people as they trample their in every thousand of customers they have and they will not treat you as an individual I cannot speak for the other Presidential Pool location but I did my business at the Surprise location and all we can sayt is (deal with them with your own Risk!).Bottom line words were twisted around and we never refused to pay We were promised many times and told "Project will not be delayed or put on hold because of a late payment..." And this company replies back as "We refused to pay the full amount..." There were no claims nor billing issues filed at our end We were never late, in fact Presidential was the one late to ask for a payment by one invoice and the Final payment became almost double what we had to pay quarterly or by sections of the project, and thus the reason we asked to pay in half as well for the last payment

Revdex.com:

the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that the resolution is satisfactory to meHowever, I must correct their response that the check was mailed on 4/because we received the check yesterday, 4/20, and the mailing envelope was postdated 4/17, not 4/as stated in their respinseI will, consider this complaint resolved

We sincerely apologize that your expectations were not met during the construction of your pool Your pool was scheduled for interior finish today, but got postponed due to weather; and will be rescheduled for tomorrow Our Construction Manager, Mike D***, will be contacting you to
schedule a time to meet with you regarding the pool equipment, deck drain and fence clearance issues

We are sorry that you felt it necessary to address your warranty issues via the Revdex.com rather than contacting us directly According to our records, you contacted us on 7/30/regarding issues with your in-floor cleaning system A work order was issued, and a warranty
authorization was requested from the manufacturer; and once the warranty authorization was received the service visit was scheduled for 8/5/ On 8/5/14, the technician removed all of the cleaning heads, flushed out the lines and found only one cleaning head that needed to be replaced; and he replaced it Your credit card was charged the agreed upon Service Fee, as the lifetime warranty applies only to the parts, on 8/6/which is the day after the work was completed I have asked our Service Manager to contact you and he has indicated that he has emailed you and left messages for you and is waiting for you to call him back so we can see what can be done to restore your confidence I apologize that you experienced additional issues with your system after the technician went through your system, but he evaluated the operation of the system once his work was completed and everything was working properly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Revdex.com: For your viewing I have added as many pictures as the web page would allowThe person you sent to my house is not a Presidential Employee but an incompetent sub-contractor who Show up after I requested his boss to re schedule so I could be at home when he was on the property.( your service department stated you no longer offer this style of pop up system so you sub contract it out ) My wife call me back to the house on the phone when he showed up un announcedThis caused me to be late for workWhen I arrived home, I confronted this "Technician" in my back yard, Not only was he rude and sarcastic to me, He stated there was nothing wrong with my system that he had already opened it up and checked itLate for work, I had to rely on his wordFrom my pictures let me point out to you the worn shaft and the main gear for which both are wore outThe worn spacer ( for which the kit and its instructions state TWO , not one) And the main seal, wornHe checked it out ? The problem was still there till I went got the parts and fixed it myself for I was expecting guests and their children from out of town over the labor day weekendI didn't want a dirty Presidential pool for them to swim around inThis steel shaft, worn drive gear, spacer and seal did not wear out in three weeks. The retaining ring has been broke by your Technicians for some time as I have been a year customer of Presidential Pools, and have had to rely on your warranty for that longI guess the answer to your question is I have had to put up with a warranty and service department that has given me too much grief over the years, I contacted the Revdex.comAsk yourself, Would you pay for service, you didn't receive ? I have more pictures I will send youAnd take into consideration the Revdex.com sent me a e-mail stating if the business try's to contact you on their own to report it to themI did not like being woke up this morning by FIVE phone calls before 8:a.mthis morning by Bill driving to work, talking on the phone leaving one garbled messageI am sticking to my request for full re-imbursement for all I requested as well as no more up front credit card charges until the work is completed by your sub-contractors satisfactory.
thank you for your time.

We apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the timeline for the completion of your swimming pool We make every effort to disclose current timelines throughout our interaction with our customers, and document those disclosures so there is a minimum of misunderstanding along the way
You were sent an email on 2/28/explaining that the process that needed to take place prior to the start of construction could take two to eight weeks The timeline for construction was disclosed and documented as six to eight weeks from the completion of excavation at the time of your presite meeting on 3/21/ Excavation of your pool was completed on 4/4/ While we are happy to provide referrals for landscaping work, your contact for that work is with the landscape contractor We provide coordination with the landscape contractor but we cannot control their schedulingThe pool was ready for final inspection on 5/16/but was delayed waiting for your installation of the necessary barrier requirements until 5/24/ Final inspection was then called for and completed on 5/25/ It is clearly disclosed on your contract, pursuant to Arizona 32-1158.01, that the final payment is to be paid prior to the application of the interior finish You disputed that and finally agreed to make the payment on 5/30/at which time your pool was released for finish Your project was completed consistent with the timelines that we disclosed and we have no record of you questioning those timelines until now Rest assured we are here to help you with your pool at any time

We are sorry that you are experiencing problems with your *** *** *** remodel, but your contract is with *** *** *** who rents space at our office If we contracted on your behalf with *** *** ***, your contract would have been with Presidential Pools ***
*** *** is a completely different company whose only association with Presidential Pools is as a tenant We have forwarded your concerns on to them and have asked them to address your concerns

No, the response from Presidential Pools is not acceptable We signed the contract on January 30, 2016. During the months of
February, March and April, there were radio advertisements claiming that the company would put in you a pool by the summer. We signed in January and still do not have a pool“Every effort possible” leaves a door open for continued delays Reviewing the current online reviews, there are others who gave poor ratings due to the delay in the building of their pools. We signed a contract in January. We do not want to be put in a queue We do not have a copy of the signed contract with the choices we made, the price for each choice and the total amount. I requested the documents but have not received them as of yet. We received a $credit to our account on June1, 2016. We do not know the current standing of the total amountShould the pool not be completed by June 24, I will take the necessary steps to resolve the matter No, the response from Presidential Pools is not acceptable We signed the contract on January 30, 2016. We would appreciate an explanation of where "words were twisted" in our response The response was merely a recap of the facts We would be more than happy to provide copies of the documents if you no longer have your copies to reference If any "words were twisted" it would be in your conclusion that since the Project Manager told you that he would not stop the work on your pool while arranging to get your progress payments during construction that somehow that meant that the requirement of the final payment being made before finish (per your contract) would no longer apply "Words were twisted" again when you responded that we replied "We refused to pay the full amount" when if fact you you asked to pay half of the balance before finish and half after finish which was not what you agreed to when you signed your contract The real bottom line is that your pool would have been completed three weeks sooner if the installation of your final barrier requirements had been completed before the pool was ready for final inspection and the balance due had been paid once the final inspection had been completed It is unfortunate that you feel that you are due compensation despite the fact that we built your pool within the timelines that were clearly disclosed to you
