I lived overseas most of my life and had always heard how expensive plumbing was in the U.S I was afraid when I finally had to call a plumber My fear was unfounded The price for labor and the parts for the insides of two toilets was unbelievably reasonable The person doing the work was friendly and efficient There is no doubt in my mind that I will turn to Presidio Plumbing when I need work done again

Presidio Plumbing Of Tucson has been to our home twice and has given us exceptional serviceFirst to give us an estimate, and second to install our new water heater*** was so informative and politeThe work done by *** was top qualityHe explained everything to us and completed the job on timePresidio plumbing is contracted with Lowes and we will use them again for any plumbing needs

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTRACTING PRESIDIO PLUMBING
I have a home warranty coverage for my homeOn March of this year (2015) our water heater broke and the home warranty company sent Presidio PlumbingThe representative from Presidio came to our house and told us that the heater was covered but not the following:
Vent $
W/HL $
TMP $
GAS $
HALLAWAY $
PERMIT: $
TOTAL: $
By the way this was written down on a post it noteVery professional indeedAnd also because they asume we are all experts on water heaters (no idea what a W/HL or TMP is)
Being desperate for hot water, I called the technician times with no answer (I even have a text message he replied saying call the office to schedule)Finally I emailed directly *** *** (representative from Presidio) to ask him to explain their budget and he sent me this:
"Remove/reconnect vent $
Modification water flex x+ 3/ball valve $
Hard pipe t&p line $
Gas sediment trap $
Hall away old water heater $
Permit $
NowI be been waiting a few day nowWhen can we get you scedule for new install? Or call for a cash out this your home warranty."
Very professional again....first a post it note, then a condescending comment
I told him to please send the technician to install the new heaterThe technician arrived with a new brand of water heater, I asked him about the Bradford White (the brand we had before) and he told me that they were not giving support in Tucson and that is why they choose another brand(not sure if this is true or not, but I was desperate and did not wanted to argue any more)
The technician installed the heater and that day we noticed a very strong smell of gasWe called the technician who said he will get back to usHe called back and said that he consulted with his office and that the odor was normal
An hour later we noticed the smell even stronger so we called Southwest GasA person showed up and told us they were about leaks of gas on the installation and that a big amount of gas was leaking (we decided to open the garage manually to vent the area)The SW Gas rep told us that if we had not open the door and waited till the morning, we could have had a big fire on our garage
The technician came back the following day and completed the installationAt that time I notice a dent on the heater, and he said that it was OK, that there was no internal damageI was so tired about all this experience that I said fine, finish the installationI just wanted to have hot water and get over this nightmare
A couple of weeks after they installed the heater, I parked on the garage and thought the heater looked tiltedSure thing, I took a leveler and the heater was tilted to the rightI called the office and no one got back to meAfter two weeks I emailed *** and finally he answered and sent someone to fix it
This is a very non professional company and I doubt a lot about how they operate their business
I have phone records and email copies of all my communications with ***, Presidio and the technician
