Press Cleaners

A wool suit came back two sizes too small and an Hermes wool sweater came back much smaller when I requested dry cleaning of these items. Customer service requested that I send the items in to be "released", however following evaluation of the wool suit the team decided that there was no sign of shrinkage. Where the skirt went to my knees before laundering, now it barely covers my bum and the long shirt has slits which used to cover the top of the skirt when worn, now are an inch above the skirt's hem. No conclusion about what happened, but dry cleaning does not shrink wool!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There are several inaccuracies/mistruths in the Press Cleaners response.1) I did not request wash and fold only2) I was not contacted with the request for the actual scarf or a receipt for it or told that I needed to submit either to complete the claim 3) [redacted] stated that their customer support system was unable to contact me because I unsubscribed to their emails; however, she replied to the email stream where I submitted the claim and sent a follow up re: status of the claim so clearly Press was able to contact me and had record of my claim.4)When I spoke to [redacted] about my clothing returned damp, badly wrinkled, some not folded, and smelling stale in addition to my scarf being ruined he agreed that their service was unacceptable and in addition agreed that the individual washing the clothing should have known, even without reading the label, that a silk, Louis Vuitton scarf should not be washed in the washer Further, he stated that as soon as I sent the claim form in that I would be issued a check.5)All clothing cannot be washed at the same temperature/cycle so the fact that they claim that "garnet label cannot be read during the wash and fold process" is absurd I do not accept and will not close the claim until I receive a full refund for the scarf, as promised Regards, [redacted]

Press washed my dry clean only scarf and ruined it I spoke to *** about this, and the poor quality of the laundry service (badly wrinkled clothing, still damp, smelling bad, not folded or folded poorly) and sent photos to their team email on 12/15/ He agreed that the service was unacceptable and that even if the person sorting didn't read the label it would be clear to a reasonable person that the scarf should be dry-cleaned He said that they would send me a check for a replacement scarf and that he would send me a claim form *** confirmed that the claim form had been sent Claim form submitted on 12/18/ I forwarded the claim form email that I sent to *** to the team email address on 1/8/and messaged *** for an update on the processing of the check and no response from either

Press Cleaners is a website were customers are able to request the cleaning service for garments. We offer two services: wash & fold and dry cleaningThis customer requested only our wash and fold serviceTherefore the cleaning facility followed the customers
request and washed and folded all the customer's itemsOur facilities do their best to catch items that should not be washed and folded prior to cleaning, unfortunately due to the nature (and cost of the service) garment label cannot be read during the wash and fold processThe customer's scarf was washed and folded per the customers request On the day (12/13/17) the customer notified Press Cleaners of an issue with the cleaning quality she was granted a refund of a 100% of the cleaning cost ($43.10)She submitted a claim for a scarf she included to be wash and folded which value she stated was as over $but did not provide any type of receipt of purchase or send the scarf to us for inspection of damagesOnce this has been completed we can see if we are able to provide any additional compensationWe strive to provide great customer service and a quality service that enriches our customers livesThis is a mistake around and item that should never have been washed and folded provided to Press Cleaners and requesting that the item be washed and foldedWe are willing to work with the customer and see if there's any thing else we can do but we need to inspect the item and be provided with a receipt of the purchase price
