I appreciate their finally stopping the billing however I have never contacted them by phone to give them my account number. I do not have their number nor have I received any services from themNot sure what they do. Discover contacted them twice regarding their billing practice with no response. Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Press Plus New York NY regarding complaint ID ***.The *** was never able to deliver the cancellation request letter to Press Plus (see the attached delivery attempts to Press Plus in New York and a copy of the letter that
was sent to them); however, I sent a message from within the website at the *** *** and somehow they found an account and cancelled it as is evidenced by the attached email from the *** ***Press Plus does not appear to be in business any longer, but hopefully the email from the *** *** is accurate and the subscription was cancelledI never received a refund for the unused portion and I won't really know if the account was cancelled until next February when the automatic renewal would have been dueI will need to keep track if they try to charge the credit card or not. Hello,It was nice speaking to you earlier.We show that J** *** has signed up for a digital subscription to access The Island Packet and Beaufort Gazette online.According to our records, on January ***, *** *** signed up for a cent trial to the Island Packet that automatically
renews at the full rate of $every days. We have not received any requests from *** *** to cancel his account either by telephone or by email. Since we did not receive a request for cancellation, he still had access to the newspaper's website, e-edition, and articles. His account is still currently active, he can continue to sign in for digital access at this very moment.When *** *** signed up on January ***, 2016, he saw a pop up on his screen to sign up for The Island Packet and entered his information. I have included the most recent popup, which is exactly the same except only the price has increased since *** *** signed up. *** ***'s trial subscription was cents and is currently grandfathered into the $rate instead of the $rate.Please note that twice in the message, it notifies that the subscription will automatically renew and he can cancel at any time. An email was also sent to *** *** on February ***, when his subscription went from the trial rate to the full monthly rate ($9.99)Once again, this subscription is still active and *** *** still has digital access by signing in. If he would like to cancel his subscription, he can send me an email and I will cancel the subscription immediately.If you have any further questions or need any other information, please let me know.Thanks,Mike P***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:  It is obvious your business does fraudulent billing.  Discover tried  on more than one occasion to contact your company and got no response.  I seriously doubt they would tell me that if they had not done so since they were crediting my account.    I understand your trying to save face for your company but I never called you nor do I have the number.  It appears that your company frauds people and lies about it.   You are a waste of time and energy.  Your company billed Discover for the past year and tried to continue this year.   Make sure you don't try to do it again to me or someone else.

I have done further research this morning, and we still have not yet been contacted by Discover regarding this issue. We offer subscription service for hundreds of thousands of customers, so I assure you that we are a legitimate business.
Additionally, it looks as if you contacted us yesterday (2/**/14) and added a free subscription to your account for access to The Star Telegram. Upon receipt of this letter from the Revdex.com, I have cancelled that subscription to protect your privacy.
In reference to your warning to not charge you any further, as stated in my previous response, your initial paid subscription was cancelled and no further charges will be made to your credit card.

After looking into our records, we show one phone call from [redacted] on 4/**/2017 and no prior phone calls.  At the time of that phone call (3:14 p.m.) the account with Press+ has been cancelled.  The subscription was not restarted, and we do not show any further billing. Also, we...

I just found a charge of $45.00 on my debit card from press page or what ever w/o a phone # to contact & dispute i've NEVER EVER GIVEN OUT MY BANK INFO I want my fking money back!

Review: Cancelled my online subscription in December 2015 and was due a refund. Press Plus called me and said refund was credited to my card back in December 2015. I have not rec'd a refund. I have since called Press Plus 4 times and each time I'm told someone from "Admin" will call me and that call never comes.Desired Settlement: Refund me what I'm owed!

Review: I am trying to find out exactly what the "Press Plus" charge on my credit card is for. I am not aware of any online subscription for which I should be charged $30. However, I am not able to get through to Customer Service. I have been on hold for over 30 minutes and have not been able to connect to a customer service agent.Desired Settlement: Please ask Press Plus to contact me at [redacted]. If I do not receive a call within 24 hours, I will dispute the charge on my credit card.

Review: They keep billing my credit card and I have disputed the charges as I have not requested their service nor do I use whatever service they may render if any. My credit card company which is Discover has made attempts to contact them and they do not respond. They just keep billing. My credit card company just put a stop payment from them for the next few months but this is ridiculous. Discover has tried for months to get them to respond and stop the charges.Desired Settlement: Stop charges and refund Discover.
