Bottom line is the customer was told by a *** dealer that the vehicle needed a motor , customer now changes the story admitting it , also admitting he was told we wanted to take it to *** prior to finalizing the motor vehicle financing contractWhich was never finalized Imagine if as a dealership , we knew a vehicle needed an engine and passed it off to the customer without their knowledge Also customer was contacted and told of what we found and he would not take calls for days

The $cash downpayment and $trade in value were clearly listed on the contract, I don't understand the confusion

We are not responsible for the storage of items left behind after reasonable time had passed, it was over a month

If that was the case the customer would never have gotten the inspection sticker as it would have failed for brakesAlso the dealership was trying to make money on him on the brake job, and would never know the brakes condition miles earlier

If the customer would like to come down again and have somebody explain it, we will be happy to

This was not an error on Prestige, the customer clearly knew the vehicle was going to be registered and insured by the boyfriend, because her insurance was way to much and she could not afford it

the salesman was out for surgery and the customer was told that the part was in order He can call service Monday and we will fix his vehicle

The warranty on this vehicle was for day and miles, it was purchased on 11/14/and passed the Massachusetts Inspection on 11/21/2014. We, as alwaysfollow the state of Massachusetts laws concerning warrantiesAnything said by another dealership that makes a profit on servicing
vehicles is beyond our control

As always Prestige complies with the state laws concerning warranties, the customer was advised she could bring the vehicle in and we would fix anything that fall under the state lawCustomer is always combative and makes threats, but we still will abide by the law

The rear end was junk the brakes were the only thing holding the axle this axle was bad when I bought it for this much damage to be done I have not drive it since was at ur shop it has had a issue since the very next day n the front is a repeat issue when u guys said it wasn't *** challenged every diagnosis made on vehicle from your shop it cost me three grand for a rear end for the truck I have children and the axle could have fallen out you should stand by your vehicle n Brocken in days spent a week of that thirty day out of service

After reading the response from Prestige Auto Mart I understand how things get misread and the accusation they make of me just shows how they operate their business. I will re-innerate exactly what took place in chronological order. I heard a ticking that was coming and going in my 2008 [redacted] Turbo, I brought it in to [redacted] Motors to have it checked out, they said it was a cylinder wall that was scorched. When I left there I didn't believe what they had told me so I called [redacted] of USA Customer Service at [redacted] (option 3) and spoke to [redacted], she advised me to get a second opinion. I had to ask myself why would [redacted] of USA say that? Didn't they trust [redacted]s report??? So obviously I chose not to get a second opinion and wanted to trade the [redacted] in for a [redacted] pickup truck. I went to Prestige Auto Mart and spoke to [redacted]. I picked out the [redacted] pickup I liked and we discussed the price for it. [redacted] gave me an offer of $17,000 for the [redacted] and I was to pay $28,998 for the [redacted] pickup. I brought my [redacted] to Prestige Auto where 3 individuals test drove it, when they returned at least one other individual test drove it. I told him that the offer he gave me wasn't good enough, he asked what I wanted for my [redacted], I told him I wanted $22,000 for the [redacted] and I would pay $28,500 for the [redacted], he checked with his boss and came back and shook my hand for the deal was accepted, 30 minutes later the manager at Prestige Auto came to me and said he wanted to have the [redacted] checked out (just like that). I said go ahead, as far as I was concerned we had the deal already consummated by shaking hands and a meeting of the minds and Prestige Auto owned the [redacted]. Another 30 minutes or so I went to see the Business Manager and she wrote up their own purchase and sale agreement contract #[redacted], showing me trading in the [redacted] and buying the [redacted]. In the paragraph "This Contract is not binding upon either the Dealer or the Purchaser until the following conditions are met: 1. Until this Contract is signed by an authorized Dealer representative (in which, [redacted], Business Manager signed it) 2. (insert any other applicable condition(s) here) This line was left blank by Prestige Auto Mart. If they really had an issue with the [redacted], wouldn't they have inserted it here , as stated under the line????? They are in breach of THEIR OWN CONTRACT., Where is the good faith that a business is suppose to practice?? If they meant to insert something....they didn't. As far as I and two attorneys are concerned they own the [redacted] and I own the [redacted] pickup. The [redacted] had passed Massachusetts Inspection sticker only 3 days prior to sale, it DID NOT have engine light on, only 63,100 miles, new brakes, spotless inside, ticking noise was coming and going, tires only 2 months use.

[The warranty of this vehicle and its effective validity dates are irrelevant to the context of the complaint. The complaint was created based on the premise that a botched brake service was performed on the vehicle by the company in question. This was validated by the manufacturer's Certified  dealer and service organization who's  purpose is the representation,  sale, and service of vehicles containing the manufacturer's brand ([redacted]).]

saying. I have a purchase and sales contract signed by their representative and me, you can see on line 2 that if there was any doubt to my vehicle being inspected then Prestige Auto Mart should have inserted it in that line. They are in breach of their own contract and maybe liable for MGL 93 A. They are not speaking the truth, the contract proves it.
