Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below ***'s version of the events are completely wrong and made up I have included copies of receipts Lie # 1: I arrived to pick up my Jeep at approximately 6:pm Thursday 05/22/14, see small receipt with time Nothing was mention to me verbally or in writing about the supposed conversation we had, as the business reply states (Please see prestige invoice [redacted] with wrong date 05/20/14, nothing is stated from the business as far as any problems or needed part or repairs) 1st called: On my way home from Prestige tires at approximately 6:pm on the day of the lift, I left a voice message, informing them that I was stuck on the side of the freeway because my Jeep shook uncontrollably and almost wreckedI drove home at about 15-MPH with my blinkers on for approximately 2-miles 2nd call: On Friday 05/23/at approximately 8:am I again called prestige and advised them of the issues with my Jeep, they said to bring it in, I told them it was not safe to driveI tried to get a tow truck but my insurance only covered miles, since the cost was to great I decide to drive it inI arrived at approximately 9:am on Thursday 05/29/and spoke to ***He was not helpful at all, in fact we both became heated and had a small argumentHe continued to say that there was not much they could doHe said everything was to factory specificationsI told him that I just purchased both parts and installation for my jeep and it needed to operate safeHe asked me to get into the jeep so we can test drive it, I refused because my young daughter was with me, it was not safeHe told me to have her wait inside the shopAgain leaving an year old girl alone was not safeOnce [redacted] returned he agreed that it was not safe and it did shakeHe said he would inspect the Jeep to see what was causing this problemPlease note: he did not know what was wrong with it as of yet! Lie # 2: I received a call from [redacted] on the same day 05/29/12:pmHe left a 1:min voice message stating that the steering stabilizer okay and did not need to be replacedThis contradicts his reply hereHe left a second message, stated that he would continue to check other parts [redacted] called again at 3:pm he stated that the conclusion was tires, wheels and spacersPlease see the the invoice [redacted] dated 5/29/Page 1: states that my rims are not Hub-Centered so the wheel is centered on lug nuts and a wheel spacer make the wheels workPage 2: Tech drove vehicle with factory wheels (rims) tire shake is gone"Recommends new wheel and tire package" I picked up my Jeep on 05/30/I spoke to [redacted] from prestige, who reiterated that I needed new rims due to mine not being Hub -CenteredI opted to buy these rims from this business based on their professional adviceI opted not to purchase tires since I could not afford new tires and rims with a cost of $to $bothI paid an additional $for what was suppose to be a fix to the problem I arrived at Prestige to get my new rims installed at approximately 9:am on Tuesday 06/03/Prestige refused to mount my tires on the new rims because they where usedI took my new rims with meOn the same day 06/03/I purchased like new tires from [redacted] at [redacted] This professional tire business sold me GF [redacted] 315/70/RtiresThey also included a road hazard,alignment and day warrantySee receipt As I drove home the shaking continuedThe new rims sis not fix the problemPlease Note: The rims that Prestige sold me where the same type of lug nut rims, NOT Hub-CenteredThey rode on the lug nuts them selvesAccording to Prestige this was the main cause of the shakingI ordered the rims fro Prestige with confidence that they would sell me the correct equipment to resolve the shaking I called Prestige and spoke to ***, I explained to him that the shaking did not stopI told him that I purchased like new tires and had everything installed at a professional tire shopI asked him why they sold me the same type of rims as my previous onesHe said that I just needed a Hub-Ring which needed to be ordered, and he would send them to me to place on my jeep myselfI received the Hub-Rings in about days 06/10/ I place the rings on my jeep, but once again this did not stop the shakingI called [redacted] and I told him the new wheels and tires did not fix the problemHe proceeded to tell me that I needed NEW tiresHe I told him I had purchased Like new tires with a warrantyI told him there was no way that every one who puts a lift kit on their vehicle also need to buy New rims and tiresHe also could not explain to me why the used tires and rims they used to diagnose the problem fixed the shakingThese where also used tires and rims [redacted] stated that if I wanted them to fix my Jeep that I would have to pay an hourly rate My vehicle has been out of service since 05/22/over days Regards, [redacted] ***

I got my [redacted] lifted with [redacted] tires and Fuel wheels from Prestige Custom Rides and just wanted to say I had a great experiencePrices were good and service was very helpful in helping me get the most bang for my buckThank you guys, great job!

I UNDERSTAND WHERE [redacted] IS COMING FROM AND WOULD LIKE TO HELPE HIM RESOLVE THIS ISSUE HE IS HAVING WITH HIS JEEP, BUT WE HAVE LOOKED AT THE WORK WHICH WAS PERFORMED AND DOUBLE CHECKED IT TO MAKE SURE ITS INSTALLED TO ROUGH COUNTRY INSTRUCTIONS AND CONFORMS WITH THERE WARRANTY ON THERE PRODUCT THE REASON WE DID NOT MOUNT ***S TIRES ON THE RIMS WE SOLD HIM IS NOT BECUAUSE THEY ARE USED BUT BECAUSE THE D.O.T OF THE TIRES WERE TO OLD AND LEGALLY WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MOUNT A TIRE WITH A DATE CODE OLDER THAN SIX YEARS AND OUR INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER [redacted] OR ANYONE USING THIS VEHICLE IN CASE OF A ACCIDENT [redacted] WAS ADVISED OF THIS AND WAS GIVEN A QOUTE ON NEW TIRES WHICH HE DECLINED DO TO THE COST, I UNDERSTAND THAT TIRES FOR A AFTERMARKET WHEEL ARE EXSPENSIVE SO FOR SOMEONE WHO STATES THEY ARE WORRIED FOR THE SAFTEY OF THEMSELFES AND THERE FAMILY IM SHOCKED THAT HE WOULD USE TIRES THAT HAD A DOT CODE FROM AND WERE WARN SO BADLY THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED THIS WAS STATED ON ***S INVOICE WE RECOMMENDED NEW WHEELS AND TIRES AND A DUAL STEERING STABLIZER FOR THE ENLARGED TIRE SIZE THAT [redacted] WANTS ON THE VEHICLE THE FACTORY STABLIZER WAS WORKING FINE FOR FACTORY WHEELS AND TIRES WHICH WE PROVED BY INSTALLING A SET ON ***S JEEP AND TEST DRIVING AND THE ISSUE WENT A WAY, I EVEN SPOKE WITH [redacted] AND ASKED IF HE WANTED ME TO LEAVE THEM ON SO WE COULD TEST DRIVE THE JEEP TOGETHER SO WE COULD PROVE TO HIM THAT THE ISSUE WAS NOT THE LIFT KIT OR INSTALL OF THE LIFT KIT THAT IN FACT THE COMBINATION OF THE OVER SIZED TIRES AND WRONG WHEELS WITH A INADUQUATE STEERING STABLIZER IS INFACT WHAT IS CAUSING THE SHAKE IN ***S JEEP, HIS ANWSER WAS NO I WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS AND FURTHER DISCUSS WITH YOU WHEN I COME TO PICK THE JEEP UP [redacted] PURCHASED THE WHEELS AND LEFT TO HAVE ANOTHER SHOP INSTAL HIS USED TIRES WE SOLD [redacted] WHEELS THAT ARE MENT FOR HIS VEHICLE THE HUBRINGS THAT WERE MAILED ARE THE CORRECT RINGS TO CENTER HIS WHEELS ON THE HUB, THE REASON WE RECOMMENDED NEW WHEELS IS THE ORIGINALL WHEELS HE BROUGHT WITH THE JEEP NEEDED WHEEL SPACERS TO PUSH THE OFFSET OF THE WHEEL OUT, BECAUSE THEY WOULD RUB ON THE BRAKE CALIPER SO INFACT PURCHASING HUB RINGS FOR A WHEEL THAT IS THE WRONG OFFSET WOULD NEVER WORK WE HAVE STATED IN OUR INVOCIES WITH [redacted] HOW TO RESOLVE HIS ISSUE BUT WE CAN’T FIX HIS VEHICLE FOR FREE OR COUNTINUE TO DISREGUARD THE CONDITION OF THE TIRES IN WHICH [redacted] KEEPS PUTTING ON THE JEEP IF HE PURCHASED IT ALL FROM US THEN WE WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT BUT [redacted] KEEPS ON DOING THE OPOSITE AND WANTS PRESTIGE CUSTOM RIDES TO PICK UP THE COST, WARN TIRES AND OVER SIZED TIRES ARE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHAKE, HE NEEDS NEW TIRES AND A PROPPER STEERING STABLIZER WHICH WE RECOMMENDED TO *** HE HAS YET TO PURCHASE THESE ITEMS FROM ANYONE AND WILL COUNTIUE TO HAVE THIS SHAKE UNTILL THESE ITEMS ARE PURCHASED, “NEW” AND INSTALLED FROM ANY SHOP ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND PHONE RECORDINGS OF MYSELF, “ [redacted] AND [redacted] ***” DETAILING THE ITEMS RECOMMENDED TO FIX HIS JEEP AND COST INVOLVED [redacted] SAYS IN HIS RESPONSE, “THAT WE DID NOT FULLY DISCLOSE EVERYTHING WE FOUND AND WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO CURE THE ISSUE”THE RECORDINGS SPEAK FOR THEM SELF AND AGAIN WE STAND BEHIND ALL WORK AND PARTS INSTALLED AND PURCHASED WITH US FOR 12-MOUNTHS AND 12,MILES WICH EVER COMES FIRST AND UPHOLD PART MANUFACTURE WARRANTY AS WELL

Excellent with superb service from this company ,Ok here is the thing when I was looking for to purchase a Truck parts then I was looking on Amazon and other companies as well. But finally I got this company who gave a perfect customer service with perfect matching product. They were really good with their customer service and with the product they have sent me. Will purchase from them again in future there is no doubt.

*** *** HAD BROUGHT US A JEEP WRANGLER FOR A LIFT KIT WHICH WE INSTALLED TO THE MANUFACTURES SPECIFICATIONS AND ALIGNED. WE NOTICED THAT WHILE DOUING THE LIFT KIT INSTALL THE TIRES THAT *** HAD ON THE VEHICLE WERE OUT OF DATE CODE AND
WARN BADLY WHICH CAN LEAD TO A TIRE VIBRATION AND ON A STRAIGHT FRONT AXLE VEHICLE A SHAKE, WABLE WE TOLD *** ABOUT THE BADLY WARN TIRES, CUSTOMER STATED THAT HE WAS OUT OF A JOB AND WAS ONLY LIFITING THE VEHICLE TO HELP SELL IT AND DID NOT HAVE THE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR TIRES. *** PICKED UP HIS JEEP AND LEFT WE THEN RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM *** DESCRIBING A BAD SHAKE, VIBRATION WHICH MADE HIM PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY BECAUSE IT WAS ON SAFE TO DRIVE, I SPOKE WITH *** AND TOLD HIM THAT WE TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND ALIGNED IT BEFORE WE RELEASE IT TO THE CUSTOMER AND ASSURED HIM THAT EVERYTHING WAS TIGHT AND IN WORKING ORDER BUT YOU MAY BRING IT BACK AND WE WILL DOUBLE CHECK OUR WORK HE HAS A 12-MONTH 12,MILE WARRANTY ON PARTS WE INSTALLED WITH PRESTIGE CUSTOM RIDES AND ALSO HAS A WARRANTY WITH ROUGH COUNTRY SUSPENSION*** TOOK THE SIDE STREETS HOME AND SAID HE WOULD BRING NEXT WEEK. TUESDAY *** BRINGS THE JEEP BACK AND I TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE AND YES FOUND THAT THE JEEP HAD A SHAKE SO WE PUT THE JEEP BACK UP ON THE LIFT AND CHECKED TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS INSTALLED TO THE MANUFACTUERES SPECS WICH IT WAS WE THEN REMOVED HIS AFTERMAKET WHEELS AND TIRES AND INSTALLED A SET OF FACTORY JEEP TAKE OFFS AND THEN DROVE THE JEEP I COULD NOT GET THE JEEP TO SHAKE AS IT DID BEFORE. WE DETERMINED AT THIS TIME THAT THE WHEELS WHICH *** HAD AND TIRES ALONG WITH A WEAK FACTORY STEERING STABLIZER WAS CAUSING THE ISSUE AND THAT THESE THREE ITEMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *** CAME TO PICK UP HIS JEEP AND ORDERED A NEW SET OF WHEELS NOT TIRES NOT A NEW STEERING STABLIZER JUST WHEELS HE SAID HE WOULD GET THE TIRES HIMSELF. AFTER A COUPLE DAYS THE WHEELS CAME IN AND *** BROUGHT THE JEEP WITH A SET OF USED TIRES WITH A DATE CODE OF WHICH LEGALLY WE CANNOT INSTALL SO HE TOOK THE WHEELS LOOSE AND HAD THEM INSTALLED AT ANOTHER FACILITY. *** THEN CALLED US BACK AND STAIGHTED THAT THE SHAKE WAS STILL THERE AND WANTED US TO DIAG THE VEHICLE AGAIN WE TOLD HIM THAT THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE THIS TIME AND THEN HE BECAME UPSET AND STAIGHTED THAT WE DO NOT STAND BEHIND OUR WORK. THIS CUSTOMER HAS BEEN TOLD WHAT THE ISSUES ARE AND STILL REFUESE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM HE TOOK THE LOOSE WHEELS AND HAD USED OUT OF DATE CODE TIRES INSTALLED ON A VEHICLE IN WHICH HE IS TRYING TO FIX A TIRE VIBRATION. AGAIN THERE IS A 12-MONTH 12,MILE WARRANTY ON THE PARTS THAT WE INSTALLED AND A LIFETIME STRUCTUAL WARRANTY ON THE WHEELS BUT WE CANNOT STANDBEHIND USED TIRES THAT WE DID NOT SELL HIM THE VEHICLE DOES NOT SHAKE WITH THE FACTORY TIRES AND WHEELS WE HAVE CONFIRMED THIS

I told him that I just purchased both parts and installation for my jeep and it needed to operate safe. Lie # 2: I received a call from [redacted] on the same day 05/29/14 12:35 pm. He left a 1:00 min voice message stating that the steering stabilizer okay and did not need to be replaced. This contradicts his reply here. He left a .30 second message, stated that he would continue to check other parts. [redacted] called again at 3:35 pm he stated that the conclusion was tires, wheels and spacers. Please see the the invoice [redacted] dated 5/29/14. Page 1: states that my rims are not Hub-Centered so the wheel is centered on lug nuts and a wheel spacer make the wheels work. Page 2: Tech drove vehicle with factory wheels (rims) tire shake is gone. "Recommends new wheel and tire package"

I paid an additional $696.92 for what was suppose to be a fix to the problem. 
I arrived at Prestige to get my new rims installed at approximately 9:30 am on Tuesday 06/03/14. Prestige refused to mount my tires on the new rims because they where used. I took my new rims with me. On the same day 06/03/14 I purchased like new tires from [redacted] at [redacted]. This professional tire business sold me 4 GF [redacted] 315/70/R17 tires. They also included a road hazard,alignment and 60 day warranty. See receipt.  As I drove home the shaking continued. The new rims sis not fix the problem. Please Note: The rims that Prestige sold me where the same type of lug nut rims, NOT Hub-Centered. They rode on the lug nuts them selves. According to Prestige this was the main cause of the shaking. I ordered the rims fro Prestige with confidence that they would sell me the correct equipment to resolve the shaking.

Do note waste your hard earned money here. They are horrible, dishonest crooks. They have bad service and they do not stand behind there products or work. I took my vehicle in for a lift and left with my SUV not driving correctly.

I got my [redacted] lifted with [redacted] tires and Fuel wheels from Prestige Custom Rides and just wanted to say I had a great experience. Prices were good and service was very helpful in helping me get the most bang for my buck. Thank you guys, great job!

[redacted] HAD BROUGHT US A JEEP WRANGLER FOR A LIFT KIT WHICH WE INSTALLED TO THE MANUFACTURES SPECIFICATIONS AND ALIGNED.  WE NOTICED THAT WHILE DOUING THE LIFT KIT INSTALL THE TIRES THAT [redacted] HAD ON THE VEHICLE WERE OUT OF DATE CODE AND...

WARN BADLY WHICH CAN LEAD TO A TIRE VIBRATION AND ON A STRAIGHT FRONT AXLE VEHICLE A SHAKE, WABLE.   WE TOLD [redacted] ABOUT THE BADLY WARN TIRES, CUSTOMER STATED THAT HE WAS OUT OF A JOB AND WAS ONLY LIFITING THE VEHICLE TO HELP SELL IT AND DID NOT HAVE THE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR TIRES.  [redacted] PICKED UP HIS JEEP AND LEFT WE THEN RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM [redacted] DESCRIBING A BAD SHAKE, VIBRATION WHICH MADE HIM PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY BECAUSE IT WAS ON SAFE TO DRIVE, I SPOKE WITH [redacted] AND TOLD HIM THAT WE TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND ALIGNED IT BEFORE WE RELEASE IT TO THE CUSTOMER AND ASSURED HIM THAT EVERYTHING WAS TIGHT AND IN WORKING ORDER BUT YOU MAY BRING IT BACK AND WE WILL DOUBLE CHECK OUR WORK HE HAS A 12-MONTH 12,000 MILE WARRANTY ON PARTS WE INSTALLED  WITH PRESTIGE CUSTOM RIDES AND ALSO HAS A WARRANTY WITH ROUGH COUNTRY SUSPENSION. [redacted] TOOK THE SIDE STREETS HOME AND SAID HE WOULD BRING NEXT WEEK.  TUESDAY [redacted] BRINGS THE JEEP BACK AND I TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE AND YES FOUND THAT THE JEEP HAD A SHAKE SO WE PUT THE JEEP BACK UP ON THE LIFT AND CHECKED TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS INSTALLED TO THE MANUFACTUERES SPECS WICH IT WAS WE THEN REMOVED HIS AFTERMAKET WHEELS AND TIRES AND INSTALLED A SET OF FACTORY JEEP TAKE OFFS AND THEN DROVE THE JEEP I COULD NOT GET THE JEEP TO SHAKE AS IT DID BEFORE.  WE DETERMINED AT THIS TIME THAT THE WHEELS WHICH [redacted] HAD AND TIRES ALONG WITH A WEAK FACTORY STEERING STABLIZER WAS CAUSING THE ISSUE AND THAT THESE THREE ITEMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.  [redacted] CAME TO PICK UP HIS JEEP AND ORDERED A NEW SET OF WHEELS NOT TIRES NOT A NEW STEERING STABLIZER JUST WHEELS HE SAID HE WOULD GET THE TIRES HIMSELF.  AFTER A COUPLE DAYS THE WHEELS CAME IN AND [redacted] BROUGHT THE JEEP WITH A SET OF USED TIRES WITH A DATE CODE OF 2005 WHICH LEGALLY WE CANNOT INSTALL SO HE TOOK THE WHEELS LOOSE AND HAD THEM INSTALLED AT ANOTHER FACILITY.  [redacted] THEN CALLED US BACK AND STAIGHTED THAT THE SHAKE WAS STILL THERE AND WANTED US TO DIAG THE VEHICLE AGAIN WE TOLD HIM THAT THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE THIS TIME AND THEN HE BECAME UPSET AND STAIGHTED THAT WE DO NOT STAND BEHIND OUR WORK.  THIS CUSTOMER HAS BEEN TOLD WHAT THE ISSUES ARE AND STILL REFUESE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM HE TOOK THE LOOSE WHEELS AND HAD USED OUT OF DATE CODE TIRES INSTALLED ON A VEHICLE IN WHICH HE IS TRYING TO FIX A TIRE VIBRATION.  AGAIN THERE IS A 12-MONTH 12,000 MILE WARRANTY ON THE PARTS THAT WE INSTALLED AND A LIFETIME STRUCTUAL WARRANTY ON THE WHEELS BUT WE CANNOT STANDBEHIND USED TIRES THAT WE DID NOT SELL HIM THE VEHICLE DOES NOT SHAKE WITH THE FACTORY TIRES AND WHEELS WE HAVE CONFIRMED THIS.

I UNDERSTAND WHERE [redacted] IS COMING FROM AND WOULD LIKE TO HELPE HIM RESOLVE THIS ISSUE HE IS HAVING WITH HIS JEEP, BUT WE HAVE LOOKED AT THE WORK WHICH WAS PERFORMED AND DOUBLE CHECKED IT TO MAKE SURE ITS INSTALLED TO ROUGH COUNTRY INSTRUCTIONS AND CONFORMS WITH THERE WARRANTY ON THERE PRODUCT.  THE REASON WE DID NOT MOUNT [redacted]S TIRES ON THE RIMS WE SOLD HIM IS NOT BECUAUSE THEY ARE USED BUT BECAUSE THE D.O.T OF THE TIRES WERE TO OLD AND LEGALLY WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MOUNT A TIRE WITH A DATE CODE OLDER THAN SIX YEARS AND OUR INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER [redacted] OR ANYONE USING THIS VEHICLE IN CASE OF A ACCIDENT.   [redacted] WAS ADVISED OF THIS AND WAS GIVEN A QOUTE ON 4 NEW TIRES WHICH HE DECLINED DO TO THE COST, I UNDERSTAND THAT TIRES FOR A AFTERMARKET WHEEL ARE EXSPENSIVE.   SO FOR SOMEONE WHO STATES THEY ARE WORRIED FOR THE SAFTEY OF THEMSELFES AND THERE FAMILY IM SHOCKED THAT HE WOULD USE TIRES THAT HAD A DOT CODE FROM 2005 AND WERE WARN SO BADLY THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED.  THIS WAS STATED ON [redacted]S INVOICE WE RECOMMENDED NEW WHEELS AND TIRES AND A DUAL STEERING STABLIZER FOR THE ENLARGED TIRE SIZE THAT [redacted] WANTS ON THE VEHICLE THE FACTORY STABLIZER WAS WORKING FINE FOR FACTORY WHEELS AND TIRES WHICH WE PROVED BY INSTALLING A SET ON [redacted]S JEEP AND TEST DRIVING AND THE ISSUE WENT A WAY, I EVEN SPOKE WITH [redacted] AND ASKED IF HE WANTED ME TO LEAVE THEM ON SO WE COULD TEST DRIVE THE JEEP TOGETHER SO WE COULD PROVE TO HIM THAT THE ISSUE WAS NOT THE LIFT KIT OR INSTALL OF THE LIFT KIT THAT IN FACT THE COMBINATION OF THE OVER SIZED TIRES AND WRONG WHEELS WITH A INADUQUATE  STEERING STABLIZER IS INFACT WHAT IS CAUSING THE SHAKE IN [redacted]S JEEP, HIS ANWSER WAS NO I WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS AND FURTHER DISCUSS WITH YOU WHEN I COME TO PICK THE JEEP UP.   [redacted] PURCHASED THE WHEELS AND LEFT TO HAVE ANOTHER SHOP INSTAL HIS USED TIRES.  WE SOLD [redacted] WHEELS THAT ARE MENT FOR HIS VEHICLE THE HUBRINGS THAT WERE MAILED ARE THE CORRECT RINGS TO CENTER HIS WHEELS ON THE HUB, THE REASON WE RECOMMENDED NEW WHEELS IS THE ORIGINALL WHEELS HE BROUGHT WITH THE JEEP NEEDED WHEEL SPACERS TO PUSH THE OFFSET OF THE WHEEL OUT, BECAUSE THEY WOULD RUB ON THE BRAKE CALIPER SO INFACT PURCHASING HUB RINGS FOR A WHEEL THAT IS THE WRONG OFFSET WOULD NEVER WORK.  WE HAVE STATED IN OUR INVOCIES WITH [redacted] HOW TO RESOLVE HIS ISSUE BUT WE CAN’T FIX HIS VEHICLE FOR FREE OR COUNTINUE TO DISREGUARD THE CONDITION OF THE TIRES IN WHICH [redacted] KEEPS PUTTING ON THE JEEP IF HE PURCHASED IT ALL FROM US THEN WE WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT BUT [redacted] KEEPS ON DOING THE OPOSITE AND WANTS PRESTIGE CUSTOM RIDES TO PICK UP THE COST, WARN TIRES AND OVER SIZED TIRES ARE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHAKE, HE NEEDS NEW TIRES AND A PROPPER STEERING STABLIZER WHICH WE RECOMMENDED TO [redacted].  HE HAS YET TO PURCHASE THESE ITEMS FROM ANYONE AND WILL COUNTIUE TO HAVE THIS SHAKE UNTILL THESE ITEMS ARE PURCHASED, “NEW” AND INSTALLED FROM ANY SHOP.  ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND PHONE RECORDINGS OF MYSELF, “[redacted] AND [redacted]” DETAILING THE ITEMS RECOMMENDED TO FIX HIS JEEP AND COST INVOLVED. [redacted] SAYS IN HIS RESPONSE, “THAT WE DID NOT FULLY DISCLOSE EVERYTHING WE FOUND AND WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO CURE THE ISSUE”. THE RECORDINGS SPEAK FOR THEM SELF AND AGAIN WE STAND BEHIND ALL WORK AND PARTS INSTALLED AND PURCHASED WITH US FOR 12-MOUNTHS AND 12,000 MILES WICH EVER COMES FIRST AND UPHOLD PART MANUFACTURE WARRANTY AS WELL.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted]'s version of the events are completely wrong and made up. 

I have included copies of receipts 

Lie # 1: I arrived to pick up my Jeep at approximately 6:03 pm Thursday 05/22/14, see small receipt with time Nothing was mention to me verbally or in writing about the supposed conversation we had, as the business reply states (Please see prestige invoice [redacted] with wrong date 05/20/14, nothing is stated from the business as far as any problems or needed part or repairs)  

1st called: On my way home from Prestige tires at approximately 6:30 pm on the day of the lift, I left a voice message, informing them that I was stuck on the side of the freeway because my Jeep shook uncontrollably and almost wrecked. I drove home at about 15-20 MPH with my blinkers on for approximately 2-3 miles.

2nd call: On Friday 05/23/14 at approximately 8:00 am I again called prestige and advised them of the issues with my Jeep, they said to bring it in, I told them it was not safe to drive. I tried to get a tow truck but my insurance only covered 5 miles, since the cost was to great I decide to drive it in. I arrived at approximately 9:30 am on Thursday 05/29/14 and spoke to [redacted]. He was not helpful at all, in fact we both became heated and had a small argument. He continued to say that there was not much they could do. He said everything was to factory specifications. I told him that I just purchased both parts and installation for my jeep and it needed to operate safe. He asked me to get into the jeep so we can test drive it, I refused because my young daughter was with me, it was not safe. He told me to have her wait inside the shop. Again leaving an 9 year old girl alone was not safe. Once [redacted] returned he agreed that it was not safe and it did shake. He said he would inspect the Jeep to see what was causing this problem. Please note: he did not know what was wrong with it as of yet! 

Lie # 2: I received a call from [redacted] on the same day 05/29/14 12:35 pm. He left a 1:00 min voice message stating that the steering stabilizer okay and did not need to be replaced. This contradicts his reply here. He left a .30 second message, stated that he would continue to check other parts. [redacted] called again at 3:35 pm he stated that the conclusion was tires, wheels and spacers. Please see the the invoice [redacted] dated 5/29/14. Page 1: states that my rims are not Hub-Centered so the wheel is centered on lug nuts and a wheel spacer make the wheels work. Page 2: Tech drove vehicle with factory wheels (rims) tire shake is gone. "Recommends new wheel and tire package" 

I picked up my Jeep on 05/30/14. I spoke to [redacted] from prestige, who reiterated that I needed new rims due to mine not being Hub -Centered. I opted to buy these rims from this business based on their professional advice. I opted not to purchase tires since I could not afford new tires and rims with a cost of $1800 to $2500 both. I paid an additional $696.92 for what was suppose to be a fix to the problem. 

I arrived at Prestige to get my new rims installed at approximately 9:30 am on Tuesday 06/03/14. Prestige refused to mount my tires on the new rims because they where used. I took my new rims with me. On the same day 06/03/14 I purchased like new tires from [redacted] at [redacted]. This professional tire business sold me 4 GF [redacted] 315/70/R17 tires. They also included a road hazard,alignment and 60 day warranty. See receipt.  As I drove home the shaking continued. The new rims sis not fix the problem. Please Note: The rims that Prestige sold me where the same type of lug nut rims, NOT Hub-Centered. They rode on the lug nuts them selves. According to Prestige this was the main cause of the shaking. I ordered the rims fro Prestige with confidence that they would sell me the correct equipment to resolve the shaking.

I called Prestige and spoke to [redacted], I explained to him that the shaking did not stop. I told him that I purchased like new tires and had everything installed at a professional tire shop. I asked him why they sold me the same type of rims as my previous ones. He said that I just needed a Hub-Ring which needed to be ordered, and he would send them to me to place on my jeep myself. I received the Hub-Rings in about 6 days 06/10/14. 

I place the rings on my jeep, but once again this did not stop the shaking. I called [redacted] and I told him the new wheels and tires did not fix the problem. He proceeded to tell me that I needed NEW tires. He I told him I had purchased Like new tires with a warranty. I told him there was no way that every one who puts a lift kit on their vehicle also need to buy New rims and tires. He also could not explain to me why the used tires and rims they used to diagnose the problem fixed the shaking. These where also used tires and rims.

[redacted] stated that if I wanted them to fix my Jeep that I would have to pay an hourly rate. 

My vehicle has been out of service since 05/22/14 over 30 days.
