Provided unskilled movers who damaged property, didn't deliver all items they picked up, and failed to refund for 1 hour and safety key as promised.I hired this company under the impression the original owner would be present. He never indicated he was sending his roommate instead. They damaged my furniture, scuffed walls and damaged door jambs, failed to deliver items they picked up from origination,and the roommate that he sent to do the work did not know how to use an allen wrench to loosen screws on a treadmill, so they charged me the hour he spent trying. I ended having to loosen the screws myself, but still had to pay. Then I found out they lost the safety key to the treadmill. Owner said he would refund for one hour of time, plus reimburse the $40 for the safety key, but now refuses to respond to my inquiry. He said two weeks ago that he would take care of it that week, but never did, now is in hiding. Desired SettlementI want the refund he promised. They did a lot of damage to my property and keeping some of my property (the garden stakes and safety key) constitutes theft. I have given him the option of keeping his promise of the refund or face a judge because I will have no choice but to file a lawsuit. I also am thinking of filing a police report for the theft.

Prestige was hired to assemble baby furniture at my house, and 2 of the bolts used to secure the crib weren't fixed properly to the frame. Prestige was hired as the delivery and installation company to assemble baby furniture at my house. They assembled the furniture prior to my son being born, and as with any child, you have to lower the height of the crib so the child can't crawl over the top and fall out. While adjusting the height, I noticed that two of the bolts weren't tightened all the way, and upon further inspection, I noticed that the tool ( an allen wrench) had been broken off in both of the loose bolts. The bolts were so loose, that I un-threaded the bolts the rest of the way by hand. I made contact with the owner, who was completely unapologetic, and their answer to the problem was to refund the installation charge for the furniture. I agreed to the solution, gave them my address so that they could send a check, and waited for 1 month for the check to arrive to no avail. I made contact with the owner again, who had numerous excuses as to why the situation wasn't handled properly, and assured me that they would take care of it. I waited for one more month, and just like the previous time, a check failed to arrive in my mailbox. I have now made several attempts to speak with the owner, they will not answer the phone, nor return any of my calls, so I left them a message giving them a time-frame to rectify the situation before I report the issue to the Revdex.com, and they have failed to take care of the situation. The safety of my child was in danger,and no amount of money could have replaced him if he were injured from the improper installation of the crib. I am afraid for the safety of the other families who have had their furniture assembled by this company,as they have proven to be negligent not only in the installation of said furniture, but in taking the necessary steps to rectify the situation after the fact.Desired Settlement$90Business Response I was contacted by this customer over a year after the delivery had been made about this issue. He began to explain the problem about the screws. I informed him that over time these screws tend to wiggle loose and I was not surprised that over a year they had loosened up he refused to believe that and continued to demand a refund, even though in the instructions to the bed, which we leave with every customer, it clearly states you are suppose to tighten the screws regularly. I also asked for some pictures which he refused to do. So I informed him that there was not much I could do since it is the customers responsibility to make sure these screws are tightened up. He Continued to land blast my phone for next two weeks. We have never had any problems with any customers from babytime before and have been doing all their deliveries for over 4 years. I would have had no problem resolving the problem had it had not been over a year since we made this delivery but my company can not be held liable for that long. Anything could have happened throughout that time period to create this problem.
