Review: My complaint is against [redacted] and Prestige Entertainment in [redacted] from whom I bought 2 tickets for [redacted] for November 21 2013. I phoned the former to explain that I suffer from back problems and need a seat on an aisle to extend my legs/knees. When I asked her, the agent said the box office rarely sold tickets directly, which meant I couldn't physically check out the seating in advance. She said nothing was available for $169 on an aisle but that at $245 2 seats were available on the front left mezzanine, on an aisle, and that no seats or wall in front of me would obstruct my legs. I bought the tickets and was assured nothing further was required, the tickets would be [redacted]. Here's what occurred: 1. As the billing and shipment addresses were different, I received a call from Prestige within minutes to fill out and fax a form plus a copy of my credit card, an inconvenience because I was in a rented apartment in [redacted] that had no fax or printer. (2) When I opened the [redacted] envelope, I saw the price per ticket was $169 per ticket. (C) I called Prestige to complain that [redacted] had said nothing was available at the aisle for $169, which is why I agreed to pay $245. (3)When I came to the [redacted] Theater, the seats were obstructed by the mezzanine wall, I couldn't stretch out the right or left leg. (4) I was cramped and in pain during the performance and suffered aches in my back and legs for hours that robbed me of sleep that night. There was deception and fraud in the sale of these tickets. I was never told if there was an email option. The telecharge e-ticket showed the following data: [redacted] The invoice no.from Prestige is [redacted] and my CustomerID was [redacted]. Data below ticket: [redacted], Order No. [redacted], Thursday 11/21/13 at 7:00 PM, Mezzanine Left, Row A Seats 19,21. I'm furious.Desired Settlement: As a minimum I should be refunded the amount of $250. That sum is the difference between 2 tickets at $169 and 2 tickets at $245 ($152), plus $98.00 (Prestige service fee) because the seats I got were precisely what I had sought to avoid owing to my back and sciatica problems. Frankly, I am within my rights to demand a total refund of $603.00 because of the pain I suffered that night, but I did sit through the performance, vowing throughout that I would report the episode to the Revdex.com.

Review: Prestige Entertainment misrepresented themselves through an outside ticket agency claiming to be TICKETMASTER.

The situation is this....I was trying to order the tickets online through ticketmaster.com. I clicked and did not realize I was bought out to a website that was not ticketmaster. I was trying to get 9 tickets, but online, was only able to click on 8. So I called the customer service number. I was told over the phone I could only get 8. I asked if the company was ticketmaster and was told YES. So I ordered them over the phone, agreeing to the terms and conditions without realizing it was final sale.

I received an email receipt within a few minutes of calling and she showed me the receipt. I saw that I was surcharged $17.64 per tickets and thought that was ridiculous...ticketmaster does not surcharge that much. I immediately called to cancel and was told the tickets were final sale. I sent subsequent emails regarding the misrepresentation of the representative as ticketmaster and the exhorbitant surcharge. Unfortunately, the company refused to help me and told me no refunds or cancellations under any circumstances.

In the meantime, Fedex attempted to deliver the tickets to my home address 3 different times during the day when I am not home. I had told them to deliver the tickets to my business address. (It states the shipping address on the receipt). The tickets were eventually returned to the company.

On 3-19, I called the company again in an attempt to resolve the situation amicabily. I asked if they could come to a mutual amount for the surcharges. The company flatly refused. So I asked how I can get the tickets now and had to fill out a special form to get the tickets at my business.

I am so disappointed over the misrepresentation, exhorbitant surcharges, and their failure to comply with the shipping orders.

I am looking for a refund of the surcharges and shipping charges.

Desired Settlement: $156.12 ($17.64 times 8 tickets, $15 shipping)

Review: I called this company last week to find out why ticket prices were much higher than that at the box office and I was told that due to the high demand and the fact that the particular show ([redacted]) was sold out for a year the tickets were sold at market value. I confirmed that the show could not be purchased until next year and the sales rep said yes. so I went ahead and told my companion to purchase the tickets online. the tickets arrived yesterday and I noticed that the price on the ticket and the invoice were great differences. I called again to ask why this price was so high today at 11:47am and the sales rep once again stated that the tickets were in high demand and the show was sold out for a year. and thats why they were selling at that price as it was the market price at the moment. I asked again so I couldn't be able to purchase these tickets for a year, and the lady confirmed.I called the box office and asked if tickets to this show which is on july 13th 3 weeks away were available in the same section. the lady said yes they were and they could be purchased from the box office for $169.I called the company back and relayed this information. they said they could not issue a refund even based on the misleading information I was given. the manager tried to argue that no phone call was made yet I have proof and so should the company. the manager yelled at me and hung up the phone. I called back and said it was misleading and I was given false information and even their policy that states the market value being $100 more was incorrect because the same tickets can be purchased at $100 less, apart from the fact that the sales rep again told me the tickets were sold out for a year. I was put on hold for a manager and after being on hold for 13 minutes the phone hung up on me.I called back with my details and a message for the manager that unless a refund was issued I will be disputing and filing a complaint.Desired Settlement: refund of full amount of purchase immediately
