We are sorry to hear of thisRegarding any "pre-owned" vehicles - we highly depend on the CarFax report We share the report with our customers, as well as obtain I signed disclose stating we are not responsible for errors or omissions in any CarFax report We also, per our policy,
check with our own body shop - every vin on a pre-owned car to determine if there has been a record of repairs We do physically check the vehicles for safety and drive-ability issues, amd correct as necessary We do feel we have followed procedures and were NOT AWARE of this damage at the time of sale With that said - as an A+ rated company, we are willing to work with the customer to some degreeThe first and most important step is for us to physically inspect the vehicle via our body shop to verify these issues Since the customer lives in Wyoming, I cannot comment on the damage disclosure laws regarding his state I would assume they are what applies, not Colorado, in terms of his resale obligations

The coupon mailed to the customer is for ONE free inspection and ONE free car washWe have completed the inspectionCustomer refused the car wash - however we would still be happy to do it if he wants to come in todayThis has been a FREE service

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
I accept Prestige Porsche/Audi’s response to work with me and am hopeful of an equitable settlementI placed my trust in this business based upon exemplary past dealings and hope that trust was not misplacedHowever, it is disconcerting that the implication of my knowledge of past damage is only a matter of law and that I may have attenuated burden of disclosure in WyomingMy disclosure is based not only on legal requirements but as much on integrity and ethicsI would never place another person in the financial and ethical position in which I have been placedI sincerely hope that trust placed in Prestige Porsche/Audi has not been misplacedPrestige Porsche Audi is more than welcome to inspect the vehicle and arrangements for its delivery can be made.
Sincerely,
*** ***

We are  truly sorry [redacted] feels as he does.  In response:1) There of course is no such "tactic" as using time as a weapon. Not sure how how that can be quantified.  Did you find the car of your choice upon immediate arrival? Did you agree on the price immediately or was there a...

negotiation. Was the dealer busy that day and had to wait for customers ahead in the process to go through finance?  Buying a car is a slow and thorough process.  The faster it goes the better for both parties.2) The window sticker (attached) lists Summer performance tires as part of the 19" [redacted] Sport wheels....clearly says "Summer tires" 3) During the Summer of [redacted] promotion - the first payment is made. In the case of this lease, it is the payment due at start. He is correct that he has 35 remaining payments - however the first one was due a month later. The money [redacted] put down was a capitalized cost reduction  which figures in to what the payment ends up being.   He has 30 days to make the payment and at this time is not delinquent however his payment will need to be made BEFORE Oct 25th.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this...

response because:This answer is rude, and also again is dishonest. To insult my intelligence and observation skills is unacceptable. I know what a cracked piece of rubber looks like, and if I had refused the wash, why was my car washed at all? That's a lie. Your service employees are liars. You're a liar attempting to dodge the question.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

New visors have been installed compliments of the dealership.  We believe the customer has been satisfied at this time.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/21) */
We initially replaced the power steering pump. As can be common in older cars with higher miles, other parts related to major components can be worn, but not have visible signs of failure. In this instance, the second repair (high pressure...

line), which connects to the pump, was showing no sign of failure at the time of original inspection, and therefore was not recommened to be replaced. However, once the new pump was installed, and original factory spec pressure was restored to the system, the hose failed due to fatigue.
We understand and appreciate [redacted]'s concerns and attempted to minimize his expense by not over-recommending upon initial inspection. It is our belief that the vehicle is now operating without issue as related to these repairs which evidences the fact that both repairs were needed.
We did fail to mention to [redacted] at the time of original inspection that there could be a secondary issue after the pump is replaced; for that, we most certainly apologize. The service consultant who helped [redacted] has been coached accordingly.
As a gesture of goodwill, we are happy to extend to [redacted] a service credit in the amount of $375 toward future service needs. This will be notated in his customer profile and will not have an expiration date.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/07/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I still do not believe that the problems that occurred the second time were not tied to the initial repair. The fact that the same problems recurred just ten days after the repairs were initially completed tells me that the initial repairs were faulty, regardless of if it was a separate part within the power steering mechanism. Those that I've asked, that have more mechanical knowledge than myself tend to agree.
While a credit towards future repairs is a nice, gesture, it ultimately does nothing for me, because I can no longer bring my vehicle to a repair shop that I cannot trust. I don't think that my experience was malicious, nor was it intentionally faulty repairs, but I also don't think that it was fair treatment for a customer that has given so much business to this company. If the vehicle started acting up, months after the repair then I would give the business the benefit of the doubt; however a mere week and a half gives me confidence that the first repair was not properly done.
At this point, I guess it is what it is. I will have to cut my losses and work hard to recoup. I cannot withdraw my complaint, however, because I still feel that I was severely wronged as an extremely loyal customer.
