Review: My 6 yo daughter and I schedule an appointment with this nail salon on Saturday, may 10th, 2014 for 2:30pm. My daughter for complete pedicure and myself for acrylic nail tips. We arrived a little late approx 15 minutes late. I asked if I could watch my daughter get her pedicure done and they declined as well said she could not watch me get my nails on as she likes because they may get busy. The staff was not friendly at all. Both jobs were rushed. My tips we're put on within less than 45 minutes. Within about three days, my daughter's pedicure began chipping extensively and my acrylic became wearing off near the cuticle. Usually, at other salons, pedicures for my daughter last up to three weeks regardless of her activity and my tips up to the same time. I went into discuss my dissatisfaction on Monday May 19th which was first chance I had to go back. The man that did my tips was very loud and ignored me at times. I spoke in a clear calm tone of voice stating my dissatisfaction what I wanted in return and that was it. I thought I gave good constructive criticism but he did not want to hear it at all. I asked if there was a sign that said no refunds which there was not and he did not point out to me. I asked if there was a form for people to sign who are new to the whole acrylic tips process. This I thought was a great suggestion especially if there is a medical issue with a nail bed because of a ripped nail etc. He was adamant that I was wrong and that my nails were the way they should be, that I was do for a refill soon. He said because my daughter was so young and active that is why Polish came off so quick. He did not have answer as to why other places the polish and tips stay on longer. At one point he ignored me to the point where he began watching tv. I did show him pictures of my daughters chipped pedicure since she was at school and my tips up close by pics and in person. He did not offer me anything, no free service, no fixing, no refund. I showed a client his job as we'll showing her that left over orange nail polish I had on was not taken off before tips put on was under my nail and extra acrylic left under nail. She was surprised. Said looked like it was rushed. I did leave quietly and either wanted all of my money back $35.00 or only really wanted at least half of the total of the money I paid back $17.50. Then it just became the principle that people should be happy for what service they receive.Desired Settlement: I do understand that the staff should get paid for the service that they render. I was not going to pursue it any further than this: reporting to Revdex.com. Then it just became the principle that people should be happy for what service they receive!!! Thank God I was not a bride or a Prom Queen! I just wanted really enough money for my daughter and I to go back to a trusted salon and go get our services done again.

There are several reasons as to why the Pedicure could be chipped for her daughter:1.) If she is a young girl, they are not as careful about their nails as adults.2.) Some shoe material may wear off on the nail polish if she is not careful.When [redacted] explained her concern to me, I did not intend to speak loudly to her. I am native to the U.S,, so my English is not well spoken and did my best in trying to explain to her about the Acrylic tip and her daughter's pedicure so she can comprehend how they work. Furthermore, I have checked with [redacted]. [redacted]'s Acrylic after one week; I recall the day she came and I have told her that her nail grew out fine and there was no problem with it.Resolution/ SettlementFor our resolution to the client's dissatisfaction, we agree to let the client come back to our store and we will redo the services for her and her daughter free of charge.We hope you are satisfied with our resolution of your complaint.
