someone else to fix any potential issues/leaks that seemed to be coming from their atriumWe also completed extra interior work at no additional charge which the insurance company did not coverWe added texture to the walls of her living room so that it may match with the new texture on the ceilingThe customer was very unreasonable complaining about dust from the texture and did not allow for us to show them a completed projectAll areas of the interior were prepped with plastic and tape, they wanted reimbursement for a ceilng fan that was simply dust covered and was fine once cleanedAlso, the customer did not pay their full deductible due to our company as wellThere was extra work that our company completed for free on the exterior as wellWe attempted to go and fix any potential issues but we cant do much when we are turned away from their propertyPlease feel free to contact us with any questions, thank you Anthony C*** Prestige Restoration LLC Katy Freeway Suite

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  The statements made by Mr. C[redacted] are untrue. We paid the deductible according to the contract ([redacted]). He was contacted several times with regard to the roof leak and didn't respond ([redacted]). Mr. C[redacted] then sent a man over, which he falsely represented as his Foreman (employee) several weeks after we had originally contacted him regarding a severe leak. This man stated he was not an employee but a subcontractor. Anthony C[redacted] (Owner of Prestige) does not directly employ any of his laborers which is NOT what had told us when we agreed to contracting Prestige. None of our damage was covered by Prestige's insurance because they insure only worked performed by Mr. C[redacted] personally and not his subcontractors. Mr. C[redacted] grossly misrepresented these laborers as employees and thus insured. This man stated he was not Prestige's Foreman, not employed by Prestige and not insured by Prestige. He was an independent contractor. This is why we refused to allow him to work on our property.  Mr. C[redacted] told us his workers were insured and even gave us a copy of the policy but this was untrue according to his insurance carrier. None of these workers were insured.He completed a screen over our atrium at 'no charge' to make up for the work he couldn't perform (resetting the siding). He did not complete hanging the gutters (his worker left the property to get 'parts' and never returned). We asked him several times to provide us with a complete breakdown of work performed and costs but he refused to do so. We also asked for receipts for materials-he said he would supply this when the job was completed and he 'got back to the office', but he did not. We have an itemized list of what the insurance company paid for. We would allow Mr. C[redacted] to return to the property to complete the work and any required repairs once he gives us a breakdown of cost and materials (which he should have supplied prior to beginning the project) and provides adequate proof of insurance. We would like to have the vents and flashing that he was paid to replace. Please contact us Mr. C[redacted], we have been waiting several months. Mr. C[redacted] stated that he would pay for the fan replacement both in person and in an email, but did not. He asked to be  given a a copy of our receipt for the replacement with our final payment. He cashed the insurance  check, but did not reimburse the fan replacement. His worker did not cover or bag the fan prior to removing the ceiling or applying the new texture ([redacted]). The fan was inoperable (according to a licensed electrician we hired to replace it) due to the debris and dried texture material inside the motor ([redacted]). I don't understand why he claims it was fine when cleaned, it was never cleaned, we had an electrician remove and replace it AFTER Mr. C[redacted] saw it and agreed to pay for it's replacement because IT COULD NOT BE CLEANED and posed a fire hazard.  Mr. C[redacted] was paid to move all of the furniture in the living room but his worker (who gave us 2 hours notice prior to beginning the interior project) was unable to do so and only partially covered some of it, as a result much of it was damaged (Photo's available) A great deal of damage was done and I called Mr. C[redacted] and told him this worker would not be allowed to continue. Mr. C[redacted] came over and saw the damage at that time and asked us to allow the worker to continue and reassured us he would take care of the damage. We only asked for reimbursement for the fan replacement and nothing for the paint stains or texturing material on the carpeting and furniture, etc.  Prestige was paid the entire amount from the insurance company, a total of $14967.42 (copies of cashed checks available) per our contract. I don't know why he states otherwise or why he gave us a receipt stating ''Paid in full". Please feel free to contact us for any further proof. We have photo's, cancelled checks, contracts, inspection reports and receipts to verify our claim.  We only asked for reimbursement of our actual costs for the repairs which we feel is reasonable in order to avoid litigation.
