Prestige Spa Covers

I bought this cover in February of 2022. I paid much extra for,among other extras,“double wrapped plastic” around the foam,5” tapered to 3 “ foam for MAXIMUM strength. First problem was the cover had a dip in the front left corner which puddled water. The company told me that in building,they must have had the foam upside down and J needed to unzip it,remove it,flip it and reinstall. I did this. It seemed to take care of the issue. Fast forward to November 2024. Inwas in the process of filling and opening the spa for the winter. when I opened the from half of the cover ,I noticed a small amount of water inside the plastic with the foam. This water drained out while the cover was folded open. When I attempted to open the rest of the cover and fold it back on its hinge,I could not lift it. I looked underneath II and saw the plastic on the back half of the cover was full of water,as in several gallons. The plastic was hanging down into the water in the spa. I called the dealer first(spacovers.com). They also apparently trade under many many other names that would conveniently begin with whatever brand hot tub you own. They suggested I poke holes in the plastic for the water to drain. They said I would have to contact Prestige Spa Covers for warranty. I contacted them,sent them pictures per their request and explained what issue Inwas having. They said I had a five year warranty that is prorated. They reviewed my case and informed me the to correct my $970.00 cover,I would have to pay $380.79 for the parts and shipping,and make the repairs myself. Also,the vinyl is cracking in the area along the edges where it folds over which never even is exposed to sunlight. I would not purchase a cover made by Prestige Spa Covers or any company such as Spa Covers.com that sells them. Spa Covers .com allude to the assumption that they make and warranty the covers themselves. In either case,both companies talk a good game but deliver loser products at a premium price to you the consumer.

I purchase a new hot tub cover in November 2022. This month I noticed sagging in one corner. On inspection the foam insert had deteriorated however the remaining 3 inserts were fine. Therefore, there must be a material defect and should be replaced under their 5 year warranty. I contacted the company and sent them photos and description of the issue. Their response was "Take out the affected foam insert and flip it over" I stated that there must be an issue of why the foam failed and as a company they should be concerned that their product is faulty. Their response was they can supply inserts for $25 plus $104.61 shipping!
I highlighted that if this is their idea of covering their product with 5 year warranty then it's not worth the paper it's written on. Why didn't they go for a 50 year warranty as it doesn't really matter if they will not warranty their product.
Companies like this one deserve to go into liquidation.

It took two months to get my cover. Dealing with Prestige office was useless. I finally went to their manufacturing site and was dealing with their Customer Service. What a difference Kimberly Trusivich was amazing. She took charge of my order and I got my replacement jacket sent to my home. Would work with her again and skip the main office. Totally satisfied

I purchased my Spa Cover in April of The cover arrived exactly as requested On opening the box I found a indention in the side which had cut into the cover The outer box also had a indented markIt appeared something has pushed into it during shipping I contacted the company and they were very nice and sent out a new one I had no negative issues at all My cover is outside, exposed to the heat in central TexasIt is still in good shape, but it was no match for baseball size hail last month I was looking up this company to order a new one when I saw this info I find it interesting that all the issues have been resolved or offered a reasonable solution

I purchased a spa cover last year in August to replace one I had that came with my hot tub which I could tell wasn't made well since it started getting moldy and retaining water since there was not liner to protect it against moisture I had read numerous reviews about prestige good and bad but my thoughts were that they have been in business for over yrs so they must be doing something right I ordered my cover and within a week I had my cover delivered to my door From the time I ordered the cover to the time I received it I found was quite timely, the cover was constructed well and has been quite durable with no molding or moisture issues I would recommend prestige spa covers, I had no issues and the cover is constructed well

I bought a spa cover from Prestige Spa in March 10 2014. We had to go pick up our cover 45 miles because the company kept "forgetting " to put it on the truck. Got the cover and put it on. 6 months later we noticed a moldy smell when we opened up the cover. It was the inside liner that smelled. I bought cleaner for it. It stopped the smell for awhile. Then December 2015 the liner started turning white and green and the center of the cover was sagging. The cover was water logged and stunk. Now mind you I cover the hot tub up with a tarp and sweep the snow off anytime it snowed because I want this cover to last. I contacted the company in Jan 2016. They told me they would send me new foam inserts @ $20.00 a piece and $112 shipping! Even though the cover has a 5 year warranty it is PRO Rated! Well it is now June 2016 and the so-called double stitching is unraveling around the skirt and the middle. And I have a lift so I do not touch the hot tub cover or pull on it. The skirt is all curled up from the heat. This hot tub cover is the biggest [redacted]. I would not buy from this company ever again. This hot tub had a cheap cover on it before and it lasted 6 years! This one didn't even last a year because of water log!
