I apologize to *** that it took the dealership so long to take of wheel locks. I have a new set of wheel locks at the dealership. If she can find time to get her car here I will have the old locks taken off and the new ones put on free of charge. Thank
You.

Just purchased my first VW. A 2015 Golf TSI. [redacted] and everyone else at Prestige were very professional. I originally went to test drive a few cars as I had narrowed down my choice to similar cars in its class. When I arrived I was left alone which is normally not the case at a dealership. I am always weary of even going to look at cars because of the barrage of salesman storming out of the door asking me a million questions when all I want to do was look.
[redacted] came out after a while and was very calm and professional. He found the types of cars I was looking for in their inventory (or could get them by the next day if not) and was even willing to stay at the dealership after his normal work day to help me out (I had to drop off my son 30 min away and come back).
There was no "run back and forth to my manager" nonsense here. I was presented with terms I was okay with and I left the same day with a brand new car that I love.
I couldnt say enough about how seamless, patient, and professional this entire experience was. I will, at this point, only want a VW now [redacted] made a reference to how sincere some people are to this brand and I am seeing why every time I get into my car!) and will always return to Prestige for my vehicles. [redacted] took the time before I left to come sit in the vehicle with me and go over every button, bell and whistle. Truly A+ Service.
Thank you [redacted], and thank you Prestige VW!

Verdana, sans-serif;">Mr. [redacted] contacted us by email that he wanted to lease a Volkswagen egolf. I have his initial email stating that he wanted to put $2,000.00 down on the lease. He signed a contract that stated he was going to put $2,000.00 down on the lease. After the lease was signed my Salesperson forgot to collect the money down. When we realized the mistake we called Mr. [redacted] and that's when he claimed he was told he didn't need to put any money down. Mr. [redacted] is trying to get out of paying us the $2,000.00 he owes us.

Review: I've been shopping for an EV and stopped for a test drive of the new eGolf. The process was quick and simple. I planned to get the car in the spring and was placed under no pressure whatsoever to get the car now.

After a week I emailed them asking to be notified if more favorable terms would become available. They made me an offer that I thought was nicely less than the competition and, upon signing the lease, I was told I wouldn't have to put anything down, which meant $2000 less than bargained. Since it seemed too good to be true, I asked [redacted], the salesperson, why there was $0 down. He explained "the dealership is taking care of that". Not satisfied with his answer I had him double check with the finance manager, [redacted], whom confirmed that the dealership was taking care of the $2000 down.

I jumped at the opportunity and, fat, dumb and happy, I merrily drove off with a new car. The whole process felt comfortable and everyone did what they could to make my experience as pleasant as possible. In retrospective it was nothing but a great bait and switch set up or a royal screw up.

Fast forward 3 weeks and [redacted], sales manager, contacts me, inferring I did something dishonest, telling me I owed the dealership $2000. When I was not satisfied with his vague explanations, given his staff confirming "the dealership would take care of the $2000", he started pestering me with phone calls.

To give you the perfect analogy of how it felt, I can give you this example; you go to the restaurant and order a meal from the menu. When the server brings you the bill, you question why that's less than you expected and you're told that's on the house. Not satisfied you ask the manager who gives you the same answer. Three weeks later the restaurant owner calls you asking for the difference, inferring you tried to cheat them.

Today I regret not having them put in writing the words they told me.Desired Settlement: I wish Prestige honored what they claimed they would do, several times by several personnel, which is to take care of the $2,000, and refund me what they extorted through intimidation and bullying.

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:1. I don't know who Mr. [redacted] is. I only dealt with [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] and had one email exchange with Mr [redacted] (attached).2. I visited the dealership, dealt with [redacted] and test drove the car. Only after that did I emailed them.3. I never disputed the original agreement was what is detailed in the original email and my attachment.4. While signing the first contract I enquired with Mr. [redacted] why he stated there was $0 down, despite the contract showing $2,000 down payment, [redacted] explained the dealership was taking care of that. Since the lease papers were for the wrong car they had to be redone the next time I went back to the dealership.5. [redacted] was the person that guided me through the signing of the second contract and he too, after I asked why the contract listed $2,000 down, explained it was because the dealership would take care of that amount.6. [redacted] did not forget to collect the money, he himself told me there was zero down and, because I understood the agreement to be different, I insisted he would check with his financing management, which he did and confirmed there was no money I owed anyone.7. I have a witness who was sitting at [redacted]' desk when this happened and, without a doubt, Mr. [redacted] will confirm those are the events that took place the day I signed the lease.8. It would be most helpful if, instead of hearing from someone who knows only second hand information, we heard directly from Mr. [redacted], so he could confirm the events I describe did take place, since he was the one that explained the contract to me, in front of my partner [redacted].9. Despite my agreeing to the original terms, upon signing the contract (both of them), I was given verbal explanations of the contract that differed from its contents: that was, and is, the source of my complaint.10. I am therefore demanding that the terms verbally presented at contract signing are honored. To use Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] words, that "the dealership will take care of that". Regards,[redacted]

Review: Car was brought in on August 16, 2013 for replacement of catalytic converter covered under warranty which also included diagnostic fee at no charge. Was told at that time the fee for test would be reimbursed if work completed there as it was also covered under warranty. When work was completed service Advisor said money would not be refunded. When I returned from vacation August 24th I spoke directly with service department manage[redacted] and was told that service advisor [redacted] was a new employee and made an error and refund would be sent within three days.

Refund to date has not been made. I contacted Service Manager again and my call/email was ignored.Desired Settlement: A full refund of $60.60 for fee covered under warranty/company policy.
