The customer was contacted and because the part that was special ordered was model specific it could not be returned To make the customer happy we offered a service credit to him which the customer accepted and took advantage of The customer brought his vehicle in for a free diagnosis and estimate for issues that he was having We compiled an estimate for the customer with a discount greater than the cost of the initial part that was special ordered The initial diagnosis charges were also waived to offset the payment of the special ordered part that was unable to be returned to VW The customer accepted the credit and has scheduled an appointment to have the work completed at his discounted rates
