I need to warn further unsuspecting customers to stay away from this thoroughly horrible companyNever believe a word they sayNone of it, NONE is trueThe worst experience in moving one will ever, ever have My "delivered" furniture is outside my door, sofas fully wrapped up which were never brought insideImagine that!? I can go on and on as so many things went wrong from the get goIt will need a bookPlease, please stay away from these peopleYou will thank me for it Marcia

They HUSTLED me They gave a quote over the phone (how accurate can that be?) for $to move my 3-bedroom house from Cincinnati to Austin I had Men and a Truck out to look through my house and give me a quote, and they quoted me $ I figured PW's quote may be off a bit, but the reviews were sparkling, so I went with it I got NO call the day before the move to tell me if the movers were coming on the day we set up or the day after After I called or times and sent an email, Mike (the sales person) denied that was his responsibility, but that the truck will be at my place around The truck showed up at When the workers walked up to me, I could smell the marijuana BILLOWING off of their clothes They came in and went over the contract so fast I couldn't read it (I know, my fault, but it was 2:30, and the foreman was pushy and not nice.) Anyway, that contract isn't the one that screwed me They worked until 9:and then gave me the second contract to sign where the cost had gone up to $9300!!! The foreman laid it out in front of my and just said sign here, here, hereand here What am I supposed to do? It's 9:and they have all my stuff on the truck Am I supposed to say "No, unpack it all?" It was 9:30pm, too - PW wouldn't be open to talk toconvenient So I signed it and left a message for Mike I called him over days and sent emailsnot contact Finally, when we get to Austin, I used my wife's phone to call him because he wouldn't recognize the phone number, and lo-and-behold he answered I explained what happened and his response was "why did you sign the contract?" and "there's not much I can do now; it's been turned over to dispatch." When dispatch (***) called, he was very unhelpful, belligerent, and condescending I tried to explain to him what happened, and he wouldn't listen He kept talking over me, and at one point said it wasn't his job to listen to me! I could tell he'd been through this before because he had answers, quips, and comebacks for everything I said It was obvious he wasn't going to help He threatened to take all my stuff and put it in their storage until I paid for it, too I told him about the Men and a Truck Quote and said their 30% markup was ridiculous, but he wasn't going to help one bit After the move in day was about done, [redacted] called back I didn't answer I didn't want to ever speak to him again But he kept calling Finally, the truck driver came over and said PW was going to charge me another $because the movers had to take an elevator NOT the stairsAN ELEVATOR And after a $con job, you'd think they could eat that, but that is an indicator of how vindictive PW is The truck driver said "I don't think he's going to pay" so [redacted] told the truck driver to stop unloading until I did When the truck driver told me what they had told him, I had to go get another $and pay And after all that, [redacted] had to call back and say "Thank you for doing business with Prestige Worldwide." PW is the worst company I've ever worked with They were belligerent and condescending, and were not above using threats to extort money out of me They couldn't communicate, effectively - they couldn't even be bothered to tell me when my truck was coming They shafted me (first time moving) with a con game for a bill and wouldn't even be rational when I brought my concerns to them They filled many large boxes only 3/4ths of the way full so there was a lot of wasted space (that I had to pay for), and they did stupid things like take all of our clothes out of our dressers, and pack them in boxes, and leave the dressers empty taking up MORE space that I had to pay for When we got our stuff, many of the boxes were shredded - I did not have a lot of hope that things survived, but surprisingly most did There were a lot of plates and glasses that were broken, though Why someone would think that that wrapping a plate in paper is going to keep it from breaking, I'll never know But they don't care if they break expensive glassware that you brought all the way back from Japan and can't replace Stay FAAAARRRRR away from them

I hired Prestige worldwide moving because of their price and reputationThe sales guy was very informative, responsive and never pushed me to hire themThey managed to accommodate the date that I wanted to move and made sure that I receive all my belongings in great condition at the other endBeing honest, I never expected such great professionalismThe crew of Prestige worldwide moving did give their best and made sure I get all I asked for

They HUSTLED me. They gave a quote over the phone (how accurate can that be?) for $6500 to move my 3-bedroom house from Cincinnati to Austin. I had 2 Men and a Truck out to look through my house and give me a quote, and they quoted me $7300. I figured PW's quote may be off a bit, but the reviews were sparkling, so I went with it.

I got NO call the day before the move to tell me if the movers were coming on the day we set up or the day after. After I called 2 or 3 times and sent an email, Mike (the sales person) denied that was his responsibility, but that the truck will be at my place around 12. The truck showed up at 2. When the workers walked up to me, I could smell the marijuana BILLOWING off of their clothes. They came in and went over the contract so fast I couldn't read it. (I know, my fault, but it was 2:30, and the foreman was pushy and not nice.) Anyway, that contract isn't the one that screwed me. They worked until 9:30 and then gave me the second contract to sign where the cost had gone up to $9300!!! The foreman laid it out in front of my and just said sign here, here, here.... and here. What am I supposed to do? It's 9:30 and they have all my stuff on the truck. Am I supposed to say "No, unpack it all?" It was 9:30pm, too - PW wouldn't be open to talk to... convenient. So I signed it and left a message for Mike. I called him over 3 days and sent emails... not contact. Finally, when we get to Austin, I used my wife's phone to call him because he wouldn't recognize the phone number, and lo-and-behold he answered. I explained what happened and his response was "why did you sign the contract?" and "there's not much I can do now; it's been turned over to dispatch."

When dispatch ([redacted]) called, he was very unhelpful, belligerent, and condescending. I tried to explain to him what happened, and he wouldn't listen. He kept talking over me, and at one point said it wasn't his job to listen to me! I could tell he'd been through this before because he had answers, quips, and comebacks for everything I said. It was obvious he wasn't going to help. He threatened to take all my stuff and put it in their storage until I paid for it, too. I told him about the 2 Men and a Truck Quote and said their 30% markup was ridiculous, but he wasn't going to help one bit.

After the move in day was about done, [redacted] called back. I didn't answer. I didn't want to ever speak to him again. But he kept calling. Finally, the truck driver came over and said PW was going to charge me another $250 because the movers had to take an elevator. NOT the stairs... AN ELEVATOR. And after a $9300 con job, you'd think they could eat that, but that is an indicator of how vindictive PW is. The truck driver said "I don't think he's going to pay" so [redacted] told the truck driver to stop unloading until I did. When the truck driver told me what they had told him, I had to go get another $250 and pay. And after all that, [redacted] had to call back and say "Thank you for doing business with Prestige Worldwide."

PW is the worst company I've ever worked with. They were belligerent and condescending, and were not above using threats to extort money out of me. They couldn't communicate, effectively - they couldn't even be bothered to tell me when my truck was coming. They shafted me (first time moving) with a con game for a bill and wouldn't even be rational when I brought my concerns to them. They filled many large boxes only 3/4ths of the way full so there was a lot of wasted space (that I had to pay for), and they did stupid things like take all of our clothes out of our dressers, and pack them in boxes, and leave the dressers empty taking up MORE space that I had to pay for. When we got our stuff, many of the boxes were shredded - I did not have a lot of hope that things survived, but surprisingly most did. There were a lot of plates and glasses that were broken, though. Why someone would think that that wrapping a plate in paper is going to keep it from breaking, I'll never know. But they don't care if they break expensive glassware that you brought all the way back from Japan and can't replace.

Stay FAAAARRRRR away from them.

I have been searching for a good moving company for the several days! Then I saw some good comments about Prestige worldwide moving. So, I called them and discussed my move. The sales person was very keen to figure out my requirements and offer me a good deal. As a process he actually offered me a very good deal, which was within my budget and time. Finally their mover executed the move and everything was perfectly done. I am so happy with them that I want to recommend Prestige worldwide moving to anyone who is looking for movers.

I need to warn further unsuspecting customers to stay away from this thoroughly horrible company. Never believe a word they say. None of it, NONE is true. The worst experience in moving one will ever, ever have.

BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT use Rhino Moving Inc, Prestige Worldwide Moving, Moving Services Group Inc., Priceline Moving and Storage Inc. or East Coast Moving and Storage.

My research indicates they are all inter-related. These enterprises list some of the same people's names, yet freely change their company names back and forth, twice in the past two months.

I was informed by the Broward Consumer Protection Office and the Fraud Hotline that they have numerous complaints against them. They strongly advised me to file a claim with them.

We just completed a move from Minneapolis to Miami. We ended up paying more than THREE TIMES the estimate! When they arrived for pick-up, they immediately determined that the goods exceeded their estimate. At that point, the price doubled. There were a few additional boxes and a couch, however my entire shipment was delivered in a small U-Haul truck by their company (even items from another customer)! I obviously could not have doubled my load from a small two-bedroom apartment.

They picked up my goods in a small Penske truck. They arrived in Miami in an 18-wheeler that was too large to drive into the complex. They then DEMANDED an additional $500 (payable in cash on the spot) to rent a U-Haul for two hours to shuttle my goods to my new apartment.

On their contract, they state that they do not subcontract, however they used Smart Van Lines with a Suddath United truck to deliver my goods. I confirmed the DOT numbers and verified that the movers did not work for Prestige, Rhino, Moving Services Group, Priceline Moving and Storage or East Coast Moving and Storage. They worked for Smart Van Lines which matched the DOT number on the truck. I took pictures of the movers and their trucks for proof and called the company for verification.

At the time of pick-up, I was informed that the delivery would take approximately one week. After 10 days, I called the company and they had no knowledge of the whereabouts of my shipment. After two weeks, they showed up with a last-minute phone call.

When I called Prestige/Rhino/Moving Services/Priceline, they refused to address my issues. It took numerous emails, faxes and calls to get them to answer their phones and when they did, they screamed at me.

If my experience is any indication, expect ZERO customer service from these people.
I have pictures, documents and emails to support my claims.

If you asked me, would I use this company again or refer them to a friend? The answer is, "No, I would refer them to the authorities for prosecution."

I got to know about Prestige worldwide moving from friend and immediately contacted them. I was very happy with their service. Movers came on time and they began their work immediately. They took very good of all the items. They packed and loaded everything on the truck very carefully. Thank you for the perfect move, made me so happy. I will recommend you to all my friends and family.

This company is operating an extortion scam. My name is [redacted], licensed to practice law in California, SBXXXXXX. I spent a month trying to track down the people involved in this business who do their best to hide their real names and location from consumers so they can take property they are supposed to be moving, hide it at an undisclosed storage location in New Jersey, then demand increased payments of many thousands of dollars to receive your property back. They are operating under a DOT license that belongs to another business, called [redacted] whose owner ([redacted], XXX-XXX-XXXX) advised me that Prestige is using that DOT number without his permission and prior to my tracking him down was doing it without his knowledge). The actual operator of this scam appears to be a guy taking calls out of a strip mall in Ft. Lauderdale, named [redacted] Mr. [redacted] uses fake names to run this scam, calling himself [redacted] or [redacted] when consumers call the Prestige number, then demanding increased payments for shipments while holding the property hostage at a concealed location in New Jersey. I spent a month working with the FBI, three local law enforcement agencies, the New Jersey office of Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration before we were able to locate where the stolen goods were being stored in New Jersey and force the driver who put them there uninsured for a month, under his name, as his personal property, to turn the key to the storage unit over to an officer with the police in Haledon, New Jersey, and refund the initial 10% charge for the fake move. The "guaranteed" price quoted in writing was approx. $7000 to move goods from North Carolina to Southern California. After the goods were placed on a truck and driven off, the driver told my client he would now have to pay more than $12,000 for the delivery. When my client refused they told him he could call Prestige and they would work it out. That led to a month of attempted extortion from Mr. [redacted] under fake names, until I tracked down Mr. [redacted] and, with the assistance of law enforcement officers from across the country, was able to obtain the location of the stolen goods and have the initial payment refunded. This company does this over and over to consumers based on online reviews of similar events. Under no circumstances should this company receive anything other than a F from the Revdex.com! They were previously operating in N. Carolina where the Revdex.com rated them F. If you want more detailed info and proof of everything I wrote, please call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX. This business is a blatant scam and anyone hiring them will be subject to their extortion racket.
