I have purchased two Cane Corso puppies from Monica Brown at Prestigious Guardian Kennels. Monica is extremely knowledgeable about the dogs that she is raising, and abundantly accommodating throughout my purchase process which including shipping. She has remained steadfast in her communication with me since my puppies arrived and has become a dear friend whom I would also consider family. Review: I purchased a puppy from this kennel. Upon meeting the kennel owner at a halfway point the puppy exhibited very questionable behavior. Shyness and growling. She then tried to bite my child. I expressed concerns and was told the puppy was just out of her element and to try her for a few days to see if she settled. There was a temperament guarantee in the contract so I went ahead and decided to give the puppy a chance. After bringing the puppy home she continued to exhibit aggressive behavior towards me, my husband, mother and children. I took her to the vet as required in our contract. She attempted to bite the vet and staff several times and the vet made notation in the medical notes regarding aggression concerns. throughout the whole ordeal I was relaying the information to her breeder. Finally , for the safety of myself and my children I returned the puppy 48 hours after picking her up. Despite documentation that the puppy is not sound of temperament, the breeder will not honor her guarantee. She is claiming I have buyers remorse and will only return 1/2 of the price I paid her.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the total purchase price that I paid for this puppy.
