The manufacturer is aware of this problem and have since discontinued selling this dark color. We have contacted the manufacturer on the Stovalls behalf and they will address the problem by replacing the bad siding with a different color. This was the first time we heard about the problem since the last time we replaced the warped siding. The last time it was a manufacturers issue also. Any time they have a problem like this they can contact us or the manufacturer directly and it will be taken care of. On 09/03/15 a representative from the Preston Dalton Siding and Window company phoned with the request to inspect the siding installed on the residence at [redacted] in 2011. We readily agreed. When finished, the representative indicated the solid-core siding put on residence was on the manufacturer's recall list and as such, the Preston Dalton company would replace at such time the manufacturer facilitated the new siding necessary to do so. Although this solution is very appealing to us the consumer, due to the past history of this company we can only be cautiously optimistic the Preston Dalton Siding and Window company will follow through and affect the necessary replacement to resolve our most unsatisfactory situation. Consequently, we will continue to keep the RevDex.com appraised of developments as we ourselves are informed in the hope by doing so, we can have assistance needed for our situation. Thank you.
