I have attached pictures of my legs the morning after I received the pedicure, and the days followingIt's clear that it is not razor burnAfter speaking with a doctor, it was determined that I had contracted a bacteria from dirty water and/or equipment in the salonIt is commonly known as "hot tub folliculitis." And it does not show up immediatelyIt takes a few hours to manifest and show, which is why I didn't notice it until the following morning when I woke upI was able to treat it with over the counter antibacterials and some essential oilsI do not appreciate the business calling me a liarI am not the type of person to try and get services for freeI have a loyalty card from their salon that has been stamped multiple times because I was a regular paying customerIf the business owners would have not been so blantantly rude and called me a liar, I would have let it goBut I don't believe I should have to pay for services that caused me a bacterial infection.

To whom it may concern,We received your letter regarding the accusation made by a particular customerWe are a small family owned nail & spa salon and pride ourselves in always putting our customers firstIn doing so, we provide exceptional services by our manicurists, and make sure our
equipments and salon is clean spotless to ensure a safe environment for our customersWe have repeated customers that come in every two weeks for years now with no complaint of "bacteria caused by dirty water" as stated by this particular customer. The complaint made by this customer is absolutely absurdShe came in to get a full set of acrylic nail with designs and a pedicureWe did her pedicure first and she dried it after for approximately minutesAfterwards, we did a full set of acrylic nail including design which took approximately minutesDuring this time, she never mentioned once that she was experiencing any itchiness or showing any signs that she was reacting to our productsHer total bill came to $70.00.She came back a few days later and showed us the rashes on her legs and said it was from our salonWhile we didn't appreciate her accusations with no proof, we decided to give her a 50% off discount as a business curiosity the next time she comes in since we never want our customers to be dissatisfied with our services. She left us a message afterwards and said she wanted a full refundWe can't allow this type of bullying to occur when it's clear she didn't get those rashes from our salonHer rashes could be from a number of things: a razor blade or she got PUPPS since she mentioned she was pregnant, etcThis is complete slandering on her part and we won't be refunding herShe paid for the complete services that we providedWe will not be bullied by her into giving a full refund because she wants our services for free.Thank you,*** ***Owner of Pretty Nails & Salon
