Price Piano Company Reviews (%countItem)

They broke our piano during the move. Have not heard back about fixing it. Also, they have our bench.
They moved our piano in September. They broke it during the move. They took our bench with them to 'fix' it and return it to us. We have not been able to reach them since. The piano is broken and the bench is still missing

Desired Outcome

Piano to be fixed and bench to be returned

I paid Price Piano Company to move my piano and tune it. The price was agreed upon and paid and my piano was moved. However, Tim Price, the owner, has not returned numerous calls and emails regarding tuning that I paid for. I have tried to contact him for 2 months. He borrowed $50 for gas and has not attempted to pay me back. I would definitely NOT recommend this company.

Business has not completed service, nor refunded cancelled parts order. Business failed to respond to messages/phone calls.
On the 4th of July 2018, Price Piano Company received $640 check from me which consists of $500 for moving/tuning my piano and $140 for pre-ordering 4 coaster cups ($35 each). Piano was moved to my resident, however was not set permanently pending the arrival of the coaster cups. The order of the coaster cups was cancelled immediately as I discovered that the business over-inflated the price of the cups which sell for about $50 for all 4.

In mid-July, I contacted the owner of the business Mr., but he stated he had no time available to set up/tune the piano. The money ($140) for the cancelled parts order was not refunded either.

In August, I contacted Mr. numerous times via text messages and phone calls. Mr. either did not respond or sometimes demonstrated incoherent behavior and was rude. Eventually Mr. stated he would tune the piano and provide refund paperwork for me to sign so the company could refund the money. However it has never happened.

In September, Mr. claimed he was in an automobile accident and was in hospital. I wished him well, and waited till the end of October to contact Mr. again, but have received no response from Mr..

Desired Outcome

I do not trust Mr. to provide service. I do not prefer him coming to my house to set up or work on the piano. Therefore I am seeking for a refund of $290 which includes the portion of tuning ($150/the average cost in the US for a one-and-a-half hour piano tuning) and the money for the cancelled order of coaster cups ($140).

Mr. Price was on time, professional and diligent in his method.

He stayed as long as it took to complete the project, that I might add generously so, as the strings of my piano wanted to migrate and took their time to eventually stabilize in pitch which is not altogether uncommon for a unit that is long overdue for regular maintenance.

It is obvious to me that Mr. Price has a loyal customer base and is a much called upon technician for his trade in the Central KY area, that he takes pride in his craft and his local family of tuning regulars and so I appreciate his willingness to improvise on his back-to-back schedule to ensure his craftsmanship for me as first-time customer.

Price Piano Company's personnel are friendly, knowledgeable and are willing to help in all aspects of piano tuning and moving. Tim Price is a hard worker and strives to make his customers happy. I appreciate him moving and tuning my piano. He even made another trip to fine tune the piano which I appreciated so much!

Business was paid to move a two months ago. He took my money and there's been no contact.
On January 28, Price piano was paid $1725 in advance to move a piano. He was supposed to move it within a couple of weeks, but disappeared. I disputed the amount with my credit card company which resulted in him not being paid. He resurfaced after numerous calls and said he'd been sick. I believed him, so I "undisputed" the $1725. It was taken out of my account and according to *** Bank put into his. He said he didn't get it. So I paid him again as he said he'd reimburse me the extra payment if he ever got it. But he said he didn't get that second payment either. So I disputed the second payment. In the end he has $1725 of my money to move a piano and he's not come to move it and will not answer my calls. If Revdex.com can't help, I'm forced to take legal action.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have the piano moved to Wisconsin or he can refund the money and I'll find someone else to do. I'm afraid this fellow is a crook and I should not have paid in advance.

We are refunding her money of $1725.00

How am I to be assured that business will return the money? Because he said so? Really? According to the business that I finally got to move the piano, the *** Price Piano Company has done likewise to others and kept the money after filing claims that he would make good. I choose not to close this complaint until the $1725 is in my account. Otherwise, I'll file for a formal lawsuit.

Price Piano Company Response • Apr 04, 2018

First our company DOES NOT keep credit card information. I tried to contact *** Monday April 2nd, 2018 left her a message for her to call me. This is my second attempt to reach out to *** but she doesn't respond. We hate what's happened to her and if there is an error on our end we will resolve this immediately. She knows we are good people and she continues to slam us on Revdex.com. If she won't communicate with me how can I fix what's not broke.

The credit just posted on my credit card. As far as I can see, the business DID refund the money. I'm very thankful. Thank you Revdex.com for helping this case get resolved.

We have relied on Tim for several years now to keep our pianos in top working order. Tim is punctual, efficient and our piano never sound better. Highly recommend.
